Scott Stevens vs. Brian Hollywood vs. John Sektor
HOTv Championship Match
The show returns from the commercial break back to ringside where the crowd is hot and roaring with excitement.
Joe Hoffman: Welcome back folks! It’s not time for the main event of the evening which, after the absolute chaos which opened the show, has now changed from John Sektor defending the HOTV Championship against Zach Kostoff to a triple threat title defence against Scott Stevens and Brian Hollywood. Taking out Kostoff has really backfired on Sektor.
Benny Newel: Fuck off, Hoffman. This is all going to plan. By the end of the night the Gold Standard will have totally destroyed three of the loser nerds who plague this federation with they’re lameness.
Joe Hoffman: I wouldn’t be too sure. Stevens has been tearing it up in the XPro circuit and Hollywood has been getting back on form lately. This could be a really dangerous match for Sektor, he doesn’t even have to get pinned to lose the belt.
Benny Newell: …
Joe Hoffman: I’ll take your silence as agreement there, Benny.
Benny Newell: Fuck you, Joe.
“Stronger on your Own” by Disturbed blares over the PA. Hollywood slowly walks from the back and takes center stage as he stands there for a few brief moments, closing his eyes. He reigns in the boos from the crowd as he gets in final mental preparation for his upcoming match. As Hollywood opens up his eyes, pyro shoots off in opposite corners of the stage as it makes its way to center stage. As the pyro hits the center, the camera zooms in to see the reflection in Hollywood’s eyes as he finally makes his way down the ramp, quickly taking off his vest and throwing it down with intensity.
Brian Bare: The following triple threat match for the HOTV Championship is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, hailing from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 225lbs, BRIAN HOOOOOLLLLLLLYYYYYWOOOOOOD!
Hollywood makes his final push as he charges down to the ring, rolling under the ropes. He gets back to his feet and looks about the entire arena glaring at the fans before he takes his place in the corner turnbuckle before turning his gaze intently in the ring as he awaits for the bell.
The lights in the arena go black as the sound of bells are heard throughout the arena. Each bell lights up a signal spotlight above the stage and the final bell brings the High Octane Vision to life as “For Whom the Bell Tolls” by Metallica begins to play.
The video screen lights up and flashes across the screen a Texas flag, with the words, “Texas Born. Texas Bred.” “Texas Forever.“ branded into the flag. The arena burst the roof off with cheers as the crowd knows who is about to walk out and they are letting him know it by chanting his name. The final image that is displayed across the screen is a giant hand that slowly closes into a FIST as letters slowly appear and form a message and that message reads in bold, capitalized letters… SCOTT STEVENS.
Bryan McVay: And introducing next, from The Great State of Texas, weighing in at 256 pounds…SCOTT STEEEEEEEVEEEEEEEENS!
The wait is finally over as a spotlight shines towards the top of the entrance ramp as the chorus hits the speakers drawing out the man from Texas and the cheers intensify as Scott Stevens appears from behind the curtain. the Texan stares down at his opponent with an icy glare before slowly raisin up his right fist high into the air. As he lowers it he gives his opponent the unofficial state bird of Texas to show his true feeling towards them. As Stevens makes down the aisle, he fists bumps some of his fans while raising a fist at a few of the more vocal bashers.
Stevens slowly makes his way around the ring never taking his eyes off of his opponent until he reaches the nearest set of ring steps and proceeds to enter the ring. Once inside, Stevens goes to the nearest corner and ascends the ropes; looking out amongst the crowd before raising his fist once more before dropping to the canvas as a loud chant erupts from the crowd. He stands in the opposite corner to Hollywood as they await the appearance of the Champion.
The arena goes dark and “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” by AC/DC hits the speakers as John Sektor steps out on stage. The crowd start booing as he cockily walks out and raises the HOTV Championship into the air.
Bryan McVay: And introducing their opponent, from Miama, Florida, weighing in at 245lbs, he is the reigning, defending, HOTV Champion, JOHN SSSSEEEEEEKKKKKTTTTTOOOOOORRRR!
Sektor strides down to the ring, running his mouth with what are assuredly pointed remarks about his opponents. He climbs in the ring and Stevens immediately rushes at him but Boettcher gets in his way and forces him back into the corner, while Sektor sneakily rushes at Brian Hollywood behind the ref’s back and hits him over the head with the belt and throws it out the ring as Hollywood falls to the mat. Boettcher turns at spots Sektor making the cover so calls for the bells and dives to make the count.
On-Stevens boots Sektor in the head.
Joe Hoffman: Sektor trying to steal a very quick win with that blindside shot with the title belt there.
Benny Newell: It’s tactics, Joe, the match hadn’t started so it’s all totally legal!
Stevens picks Sektor up and lays some fists to Sektor’s jaw then whips him across the ring, catching him on the rebound to hit a big flapjack. Hollywood is stirring as Stevens picks Sektor up. Stevens gestures to Hollywood who nods and joins Stevens to hit a double team suplex on Sektor! They both get up and hit synchronised elbow drops to Sektor’s sternum!
Joe Hoffman: These two were meant to be facing each other in singles competition before the shenanigans which opened the show out them in the main event, but now they’re working as a well oiled team!
Benny Newell: They’re just fucking cowards, Joe. They’re too scared to face him in a fair fight, one on one!
Sektor quickly rolls out of the ring to catch his breath. Stevens leans over the ropes to trash talk Sektor but all of a sudden he gets elbowed in the back of his head and launched into the air with a German Suplex from Hollywood! Hollywood quickly makes the cover.
One!
Two-kickout!
Benny Hoffman: Ha! That didn’t last long! They’re not only cowards but backstabbers too!
Joe Hoffman: Hollywood saw an opportunity and took it, they’re might both hate John Sektor but they’re not a team in this match.
Stevens shoves Hollywood off him and gets to his feet. Hollywood goes in for a lockup but Stevens knees him in the gut and throws a series of headbutts at his skull. Hollywood staggers and Stevens lifts him up into a vertical suplex but Hollywood drops down behind him and hits a big backdrop. Hollywood starts stomping away on Stevens only to be taken down from behind by a massive spinning forearm smash to the back of his head! The fans boo as Sektor taunts his opponents. He picks Hollywood up and hits an arm trap belly to belly suplex before picking up Stevens and hitting a northern lights suplex, bridging for the pin.
One!
Two!
Kickout!
Benny Newell: Haha, those fuckers forgot the champ was still here! What amazing skill!
Joe Hoffman: It was a bit of a cheap shot, Benny, some would call it a sucker punch.
Benny Hoffman: It was an elbow, you idiot. Do you even know anything about wrestling?
Sektor gets up and spots Hollywood rushing him out the corner of his eye and instinctively counters the clothesline into a fujiawa arm bar! Hollywood hits the mat hard and yells in pain as the Gold Standard wrenches on his arm. Sektor pulls back trying to get a quick submission but gets a boot to the head from Stevens. Stevens throws Sektor into the corner and crushed him with a clothesline from hell! Stevens stomps a mudhole on the HOTV Champion. The ref starts a 5 count but it’s broken by 3 when Hollywood punches Stevens and throws him to the floor, only to start mudhole stomping on Sektor himself. Boettcher reaches 4 before Stevens is back and throws Hollywood out of the ring and stomps away on Sektor some more.
Joe Hoffman: These two really want to be the one to put Sektor away, they don’t want each other to get the glory.
Benny Newell: No shit, they can’t win the title if they let someone else beat Sektor, not that either of them is going to!
Hollywood picks Sektor up and hoofs him up onto the top turnbuckle, climbing up after him to hit a massive superplex! Sektor arches his back in pain as Hollywood slingshots himself back up to the top turnbuckle and signals for a big move. He leaps, aiming to hit Sektor with a big time frog splash!
Joe Hoffman: Frog Splash! Hollywood only pulls this out for big matches!
Benny Newell: No!
Joe Hoffman: This could be-WHAT?! REMEMBER THE ALAMO FROM OUT OF NOWHERE!
Brian Hollywood takes the superkick straight to the jaw in midair and crumples to the mat. Stevens kicks Hollywood in the gut and locks in a Sharpshooter!
Joe Hoffman: Arachnophobia! Stevens also bringing out his big moves. Both these competitors are hungry for that championship belt!
Benny Newell: Come on, John! Get up!
Stevens has the hold locked on tight but Sektor hasn’t stirred yet. Hollywood crawls to the ropes, dragging Steven’s weight with him. He stretches an arm out and manages to grab hold of the ropes. Matt Boettcher orders Stevens to release the hold but he doesn’t so the ref starts to count. At 3 Stevens drags Hollywood away from the ropes and into the middle of the ring. Hollywood grits his teeth in pain, desperate not to tap out. The ref checks on him and it looks like Hollywood is about to tap when Sektor dives in to hit Stevens in the back with a clubbing blow!
Joe Hoffman: Sektor with the save, he cut it very fine as it looked like Hollywood was close to tapping!
Benny Newell: Oh thank fuck for that! Sektor nearly gave me a heart attack. Drink!
Sektor and Stevens square up and start throwing flurries if strikes back and forth, neither gaining the advantage as they chop and enjoy and punch back and forth with the fury of two men buzzing with adrenaline. The crowd goes crazy as the action heats up. Stevens notices a noise from behind him and just manages to see Brian Hollywood in time to dodge out the way of a claymore kick! Sektor isnt so lucky and takes a grazing blow from the kick.
Joe Hoffman: The Termination!
Benny Newell: Huh? I thought that was the Executive Decree?
Joe Hoffman: No, that’s his finisher, this was just a signature move.
Benny Newell: The fuck is the difference? It looks exactly the same!
Joe Hoffman: Less powerful, I guess?
While the commentators debate the finer points of Brian Hollywood’s moves set, Stevens hits Hollywood with a forearm and follows up with a few more strikes before whipping Hollywood into the ropes, aiming for a lariat but Hollywood ducks and hits the ropes on the other side, rebounding and leaping to grab Stevens in the front facelock, spinning them both around for a Tornado DDT but Stevens counterbalances and holds Hollywood up before setting him down on his feet for a moment before launching him overhead with a northern lights suplex! The fans cheer at the impact as Stevens floats over to cover.

Benny Newell: No! Wake up, Sektor!
Joe Hoffman: It looks like he’s out cold, Benny.
Stevens picks Hollywood up but Hollywood catches him off guard with a jawbreaker. Stevens stumbles backwards and Hollywood chases him down but Stevens has him scouted and fires off a superkick!
Joe Hoffman: REMEMBER THE ALAM-NO, HOLLYWOOD DODGES!
Hollywood steadies himself as Stevens turns around and returns a superkick of his own!
Joe Hoffman: EXECUTIVE PROMISE!
Benny Newell: No! The lonesome loser rolled the fuck out the way!
Stevens gets to his feet as the crowd roars. Hollywood turns as Stevens lunges with a superman punch!
Joe Hoffman: THE FIST MISSES!
Benny Newell: Hollywood almost got fisted!
Stevens turns and wham, face meets boot!
Joe Hoffman: EXECUTIVE DECREE CONNECTS!
Benny Newell: I fucking told you thats the same move! It’s exactly the fucking same!
Joe Hoffman: Either way, Scott Stevens is out like a light, there’s no one home!
Hollywood falls to his knees after hitting the claymore kick with such force, clearly drained of energy. He pushes himself up to turn and make the cover…
And gets thrown out the ring by a vibrant John Sektor!
Joe Hoffman: Sektor was playing possum! He was letting the other two beat the hell out of each other while he recuperate!
Benny Newell: Hell yeah! That’s pro level tactics from the Gold Standard!
Sektor relishes the boos from the crowd as he covers Stevens.

“Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” hits the speakers as Matt Boettcher hands Sektor the title.
Bryan McVay: Here is your winner, in 17 minutes and 24 seconds, and STILL HOTV Champion, JOOOOHHHNNN SSSSEEEEEEKKKKTOOOORRR
Joe Hoffman: No! Hollywood was just a split second too late!
Benny Newell: Fuck yeah! Champ retrains!
Hollywood is on his knees in a state of disbelief as John Sektor celebrates. He was so close to winning the belt but just fell short. He gets up and shoves Sektor as he yells at him angrily. Sektor cockily pats his title belt and taunts Hollywood to take a shot. Hollywood raises a fist but Sektor wags a finger and points to the entrance ramp. Hollywood turns to see STRONK! walking down the ramp, flanked by Dan Ryan and Steve Solex, followed by the duo of Mike Best and Jatt Starr. Hollywood’s eyes widen as as they stride down to the ring but figures it is a do-or-die moment so turns and starts throwing furious punches at the man who just stole his victory.
Joe Hoffman: No! Get out of there, Brian, those alliance goons are going to kill you!
Benny Newell: Who are you calling a good, Hoffman? This is exactly what happens when you fuck with the Final Alliance!
Starr and Ryan run down the ramp and slide in the ring, attacking Hollywood from behind and slamming him to the mat before they begin stomping away. The rest of the Alliance reaches the ring just as two figures jump off the barriers and slide into the ring.
Joe Hoffman: What?! Townsend and Ward are here!
Benny Newell: The fuck are those nerds doing back out here?! And what are those nerds are the top of the ramp doing?!
As our very colorful color commentator said, running down from the top of the ramp are a locker room full of nerds. Darin Zion, Jace Parker Davidson and Xander Azula (his head wrapped in gauze from Solex’s earlier attack) are being led by the self proclaimed locker room leader, Conner Fuse as they head down to attack the Alliance. In the ring, Townsend is trading blows with Dan Ryan and Ward is punching Jatt Starr while Hollywood gathers himself together and attacks Sektor. Stevens pulls himself up on the ropes, looking a bit confused but joins in beating up John Sektor anyway. Solex rushes up to take it to Fuse as Jace and Xander run down to attack STRONK! while Zion and Mike clash on the ramp.
Joe Hoffman: What is going on?! Ringside has become a war zone!
Benny Newell: Where’s security?! The Final Alliance are totally outnumbered! This is so unfair!
STRONK! launches Xander into the crowd but Jace grabs a chair and slams it into the World Champion’s back. Solex and Fuse brawl up onto the stage, Solex is overpowering Fuse but Fuse is using his speed and agility to stay in the fight. Mike and Zion are throwing punches and kicks in a high intensity recreation of their HOFC match earlier in the year. Ward and Jatt spill out of the ring and over into the crowd, throwing any old detritus they can find at each other while Dan Ryan and Rhys Townsend put on a powerhouse technical masterclass in the ring. Sektor runs off into the crowd, chased by Hollywood and Stevens.
Joe Hoffman: The roster is taking the fight to the Final Alliance! We’ve run out of time but there’s sure to be fall out from this unadulterated act of rebellion! Tune in next week, folks!
Security spills out from backstage and try to separate the warring wrestlers as the show fades to black.
