Joe Hoffman: Welcome back to ringside ladies and gentlemen and now it’s time for our third match of the evening where both men will be looking to rebound from disappointing defeats.
Benny Newell: Basically folks what Joe is trying to say here this is the time you can get up and take a piss break, you can get some food, refill your drink, and not miss a fucking thing!
Joe Hoffman: I’m not saying that at all Benny, our next match is going to be a hotly contested one as we have a man that just last week almost won the HOW ICON Championship belt going against a man that has been named to the War Games team taking on Boardwalk Wrestling.
Benny Newell: You mean Team Sadness? The same thing that Chris Diamond is on? Big fucking accomplishment there. Just like last week’s near win Joe, I almost give a fuck… almost.
Joe shakes his head and we send it down to the ring where Bryan McVay is standing with his microphone in hand.
Bryan McVay: The following match is scheduled for one fall and can only be won by pinfall or submission!
The lights in the arena go pitch black, as red lasers and spotlights light up the area. The video screen lights up and flashes across the screen a Texas flag, with the words, “Texas Born. Texas Bred.” “Texas Forever.“ branded into the flag.
Bryan McVay: Introducing first from Houston, Texas weighing in tonight at 256lbs… here is THE SCROPION… SCOTT STEVENSSSSS!!!!!
The crowd reaction is mixed, but there are more cheers than boos, as a piano calmly plays throughout the PA system and “Til I Collapse” by Eminem begins to play. The cheers intensify as the chorus hits the speakers, drawing out the man from Texas.
Joe Hoffman: Stevens looks like a new man and tonight he’s looking to set things back on the right track. With a new attitude and that same hungry that has always driven him to succeed this could be the man that leads us to victory against Boardwalk Wrestling.
Walking down the aisle, he fists bumps some of his fans while raising a fist at a few of the more vocal bashers. As he finally gets to the ring, he climbs the nearest turnbuckle and stares down at his opponent, an icy glare and the throat slash gesture his only actions as he drops to the mat. “Gimme Shelter” by Puddle of Mudd blares across the arena. Louis the Little Person emerges from the back with a combination of anger and exuberance followed by Hugo Scorpio.
Bryan McVay: And his opponent from Portland, Maine weighing in tonight at 230lbs… here is HUGO SCORPIOOOOOO!!!!!
As they walk down aisle, Louis cannot help but flip off the fans as Hugo ignores this sign of disrespect. As Louis walks up the ringsteps and enters the ring. Louis, while standing in Hugo Scorpio’s opponent’s corner, pulls out a cheap cigar, lights it, and smokes it for about fifteen to twenty seconds while Scorpio slides in the ring and stands in the corner.
Joe Hoffman: As I stated earlier Hugo Scorpio came very close last week to beating Cecilworth Farthington and capturing the HOW ICON Championship belt. A win tonight against Stevens would prove to a lot of people why Hugo is a force to be reckoned with here in HOW.
Benny Newell: Scorpio versus the Scorpion? Fucks sake I don’t think I have another alcohol to make it through this match. And I have to endure this match sober then someone’s going to fucking suffer like the midget Asian hooker I brought last night.
Finally, as the music fades, Louis puts out the cigar on the mat where he was standing and chucks it at the referee, threatening him not to make any bad calls. Referee Joel Hortega goes over the rules with both men and only Stevens seems to be understanding what is being said since they both have the same native language. Joel raises his hand into the air and calls for the bell to signal the start of the match.
–DING DING–
Both men walk to the center of the ring and stand face to face with each other. Stevens extends his hand offering a sign of good sportsmanship towards Hugo but Hugo just stares down at Stevens’ hand. Louis yells from the outside of the ring and Hugo slaps Stevens’ hand away from him before rocking Stevens back with a stiff right hand to the face. Hugo peppers Stevens with a couple more right hands to the face before whipping him into the turnbuckle spine first hard. Hugo gets a running start then hits Stevens with a running clothesline in the corner that rocks him against the turnbuckle.
Joe Hoffman: Stevens tried to show some respect to Hugo here but Hugo was having none of it and has gone on the offensive early versus Stevens here.
Benny Newell: Stevens comes out here and whines and apologizes about losing all the time but if the motherfucker came out there to actually wrestle and not make friends then maybe we wouldn’t call him the Lonesome Loser.
Hugo gives Stevens a boot to the mid-section in the corner then whips him into the ropes but Stevens reverses the whip and sends Hugo into the ropes. Hugo rebounds off the ropes then leaps into the air and hits Stevens with a flying forearm smash to the face that knocks him down to the canvas hard. Stevens scrambles back up to his feet but Hugo is up first and ready to continue his attack. Hugo grabs a hold of Stevens and hits him with a side Russian leg sweep that snaps him back down to the canvas. Hugo gets back up to his feet then makes his way over towards the corner as Stevens is motionless on the mat. Hugo climbs to the second rope then leaps off hitting a driving elbow drop across the neck of Stevens. Hugo gets back up to his feet then stalks around Stevens as he slowly staggers back up to his feet. Hugo grabs a hold of Stevens and then connects with the SCORPIO STING that sends Stevens crashing down to the canvas. Hugo hooks the leg and makes the cover on Stevens as Hortega slides in for the count.
UNO!
DOS!
NO! Kickout by Stevens before the three!
Joe Hoffman: Hugo Scorpio has been in full control of this match and connected with the Scorpio Sting and it always gained him the big win here tonight. Stevens can’t take too many more of those if he expects to win tonight.
Benny Newell: I can’t honestly believe I gotta deal with this shit. Scorpio Stings against Toxic Stings.. insect fags gonna fag I guess.
Hugo gets back up to his feet then stalks around Stevens as he slowly staggers back up to a vertical base. Hugo gives Stevens a boot to the mid-section that doubles him over in pain. Hugo grabs a hold of Stevens and tries to step up for a double underhook backbreaker but Stevens powers out of it and hits Hugo with a big back body drop that sends him crashing down to the canvas. Hugo gets back up to his feet then charges at Stevens but Stevens fires off a European uppercut to the face of Hugo that staggers him backwards. Hugo takes a moment to recover then bounces off the ropes but Stevens catches him and plants him with a Double S spinebuster down to the canvas.
Joe Hoffman: Scott Stevens had taken a lot of damage in this match but he’s managed to turn the tide here against Hugo Scorpio and fire off a nice flurry of moves that has Hugo looking for a place to regroup and get himself back into this match.
Benny Newell: It amazes me how Scott Stevens knows what? A hundred? Maybe two hundred wrestling moves? Everything from power moves to counter moves, to high flying moves and submissions and yet… he doesn’t do a fucking one of them well.
Stevens gets back up to his feet then stalks around Hugo as he staggers back up to his feet. Stevens grabs a hold of Hugo from behind them muscles him up and over with a German suplex that spikes the back of his head down to the canvas. Stevens keeps his grip and then gets back up to his feet and muscles Hugo over with a second German suplex. Once again Stevens keeps his grip and then gets back up to his feet and muscles Hugo up and over with a third German suplex. Stevens staggers back up to his feet then grabs a hold of Hugo and drags him back up to a vertical base. Stevens fires off another European uppercut then whips Hugo into the turnbuckle spine first hard. Stevens gets a running start towards Hugo then leaps into the air and connects with a stingers splash in the corner. Stevens backs away from the corner and measures up his opponent. As Hugo staggers away from the turnbuckle Stevens connects with REMEMBER THE ALAMO that drops Hugo like a bad habit. Stevens hooks the leg and makes the cover on Hugo as Hortega slides in for the count.
UNO!
DOS!
TRE- NO! Hugo gets his shoulder up at the last split second!
Joe Hoffman: Stevens connected with Remember the Alamo, he got all of that superkick but it just wasn’t enough to put away Hugo Scorpio here tonight!
Benny Newell: We’ve also witnessed a Stinger Splash from these insect fags. Can’t we just stick them both in a pit full of ACTUAL scorpions and place bets on which one of them dies first?
Stevens gets up to his feet then steps through the ropes and begins climbing the turnbuckle. Stevens balances himself on the top rope as Hugo remains motionless on the mat. Stevens leaps off the top rope and goes for five star frog splash but the only stars he sees are the one floating above his head because Hugo moved out of the way and Stevens crashes and burns down to the canvas hard.
Joe Hoffman: Stevens went to the high rent district and tried to put this match away with one big move but Hugo was aware enough to move out of the way and now Stevens might be too hurt to continue!
Benny Newell: Doesn’t that idiot know that Scorpions aren’t supposed to be fly? If he wanted to take flight many he should have called himself Pigeon or the Canary or some shit like that.
Joel Hortega walks to the center of the ring and checks on both men who are still on the canvas but doesn’t use his ten count because both men are slowly but surely fighting their way back up to a vertical base. Stevens is the first one to get up to his feet and charges at Hugo going for a running Eurpoean uppercut but Hugo side steps Stevens causing him to swing and miss. Hugo grabs a hold of Stevens from behind getting him in a sleeper hold then connects with EVER AFTER that slams him down to the canvas hard. Hugo staggers back up to his feet then tries to shake the cobwebs clear as Stevens uses the ropes to pull himself back up to his feet. Hugo grabs a hold of Stevens from behind and tries to hoist him up into the air for HELL BENT but Stevens counters and lands on his feet behind Hugo. Stevens spins Hugo around then leaps into the air and…
Joe Hoffman: TOXIC STING!
Benny Newell: Quit yelling that shit! Everything I hear the word sting it reminds me of when I got busted for my prostitution ring I was running!
Stevens connects with his finisher and Hugo falls to the canvas hard. Stevens rolls Hugo over then hooks the leg and makes the cover as Hortega slides in for the count.
UNO!
DOS!
TRES!
Bryan McVay: Here is your winner… THE SCORPION SCOTT STEVENSSSSS!!!!!!
Stevens gets back up to his feet and Joel Hortega raises his arms in the air proudly in victory tonight for HOW’s favorite Texan.
Benny Newell: Basically folks what Joe is trying to say here this is the time you can get up and take a piss break, you can get some food, refill your drink, and not miss a fucking thing!
