The camera goes from backstage to ringside, where the Hall of Fame duo are seen at their table amongst the fans ahead of the next match. Joe Hoffman arranging his notes, and next to him, Benny Newell pouring himself another drink.
Joe Hoffman: It’s time for some tag team action up next, as we see Sex and Money reunite against their respective opponents at Rumble at the Rock. After what we saw last week, with Chris Kostoff brutalising Chris Diamond and David Black as a direct message to Noah Hanson and Brian Hollywood coming within an inch of the HOW World Championship, this should prove to be a very interesting match-up.
Benny Newell: First off, it’s Kostoff to you, that monster could his own first name to the hospital. Second, this match is a no contest. Sex and Money are gonna get flattened here tonight, and then at Alcatraz they’re gonna get flattened again!
Joe Hoffman: We’ll just have to see about that, as we pass it over to Bryan McVay for the introductions!
Joe finishes speaking just in time for “Killing in the Name Of” by Rage Against the Machine to blare over the speakers. The crowd jeers as Brian Hollywood makes his way onto the stage, with Noah Hanson close behind, and the two make their way down the ramp. Hollywood seems in a world of his own, while Hanson takes time out to mock the fans in the front row.
Bryan McVay: The following contest is a tag team match scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, at a combined weight of 457 lbs, the team of Brian Hollywood, and Noah Hanson, SEX AAAAAAAAND MOOOOONEEEEEEEEY!
The jeering of the crowd soon turns to cheers as the lights turn dark and Chris Kostoff’s music sounds throughout the arena. The big man slowly walks onto the stage, locking eyes on the two men in the ring as he quickens the pace coming down the ramp. However, before Bryan can make his introductions, Scott Stevens jumps the barricade behind Sex and Money, sliding in and clocking Hanson in the back of the head just as Kostoff entered the ring in front of Hollywood. The distraction worked, with Hollywood losing his focus as he turned to look at Stevens for just long enough for Kostoff to level him with a Big Boot.
Joe Hoffman: Underhanded tactics by Scott Stevens here, Benny. You’ve got to wonder if Kostoff was in on it, but the two are certainly taking advantage!
Benny Newell: And the bell hasn’t rang yet, so they can do whatever the hell they want!
As Bryan McVay smartly flees the ring, Joel Hortega does his best to try and break up the fight, and after getting some stomps in, Stevens and Kostoff eventually obey and go to their corner so that Hortega can check on Sex and Money.
Benny Newell: Looks like Stevens and Kostoff want this match over with quick so they can continue where they left off.
Joe Hoffman: It seems that way, but Hanson and Hollywood are back to their feet. Time to get this match underway!
Hanson eases himself through the ropes to the outside, while at the opposite corner, Kostoff easily steps over the top to let Stevens start.
DING DING DING!
Stevens and Hollywood circle each other in the ring, locking up in a collar and elbow. Hollywood gains the advantage, getting Stevens in a side headlock, but Stevens pushes him off into the ropes. Hollywood tries to go for a clothesline on the rebound, but a shoulder block from Stevens puts Hollywood briefly on the mat. When Hollywood is back up to his feet, the two lock up again. This time Hollywood manages to go behind Stevens and get a rear waistlock, but Stevens slips out and wrenches the arm in the process. Stevens transitions to a side headlock, but Hollywood smartly bulrushes Stevens into Sex and Money’s corner, and tags in Hanson to get a few shots in while Hollywood has Stevens trapped.
Joe Hoffman: Very smart tag wrestling from Hollywood there, if Hollywood and Hanson can keep Stevens in that side of the ring they can do some serious damage.
Benny Newell: That’s a pretty big “if”, Hoffman. Hollywood and Hanson both got put through hell last week courtesy of our LSD/ICON and Heavyweight Champions. Champions who both retained, I might add.
Hanson gives Stevens a few kicks to the gut while Hollywood gets out of the ring, but immediately tags Hollywood back in again and holds Stevens in place so Hollywood can get in some kicks of his own. Hanson climbs out of the ring and gets tagged back in, but before he can climb in and continue the onslaught, Stevens catches him with a back elbow, before hitting Hollywood with a few knees until he was alone in the ring with Hanson. Stevens turns back to Hanson to receive a shoulder to the gut through the ropes for his troubles, and Hanson tries to follow up with surprising agility with a roll-up, but Stevens immediately kicks out.
Joe Hoffman: Smart thinking by Hanson there, but Stevens must have seen it coming. Way too early in the match for that to work, but it has Hanson in a position to capitalise.
Both men get to their feet at the same time and start teeing away at each other, trading rights. However, Stevens gets the advantage, pushing Hanson back into a neutral corner and forcing him to stop punching and start trying to block Stevens’ attacks until Hortega started counting for Stevens to break. Hortega counts to quatro before Stevens backs off, putting his hands up in innocence, but mule kicking Hanson in the gut as soon as Hortega is out of the way. Hanson slumps to a seated position in the corner and Stevens takes advantage, stomping a mudhole until Hortega again counts to quatro and Stevens backs off. Stevens pulls Hanson out of the corner by the leg, floating over and hooking the leg as Hortega gets into position.
UNO…
DOS…
Joe Hoffman: And a kickout from Hanson at 2, but Stevens has definitely turned the tides in his favour.
Benny Newell: If the look on Stevens’ face is any indication, he’s about to regret that decision.
Stevens gets back to his feet and points to Kostoff, the crowd roaring in approval. Kostoff extends his hand for a tag, and Stevens looks like he’s about to tag the big man in, but instead turns around and stomps on Hanson’s chest again to a chorus of boos.
Benny Newell: No free previews for the fans tonight, Hoffhole!
Joe Hoffman: I bet Kostoff must be loving this though, Hanson already got put through the wringer by Max Kael last week, and now Stevens is doing even more damage.
Stevens drags Hanson to his feet, but Hanson tries fighting back, punching Stevens in the gut while he’s on one knee. Stevens responds by clubbing Hanson in the back, and whipping him against the ropes. Stevens goes for a clothesline on the rebound, which Hanson ducks, but he rebounds off the other side right into the Debbie Does Dallas uppercut. Hanson hits the canvas like a sack of potatoes, and Stevens turns to Kostoff, grins, and makes the tag.
Kostoff slowly steps over the top rope, as though toying with his prey. He waits for Hanson to stir, and just as Hanson gets to one knee, Kostoff pounces, grabbing Hanson in the powerbomb position and lifting him high into the air for…
Joe Hoffman: No Remorse! This match is over!
Kostoff looks as though he’s about to make the cover, but instead shakes his head, raising a finger in the air. ‘One more time’. He lifts Hanson to his feet again, and again lifts Hanson up for a No Remorse powerbomb. But this time, Hanson somehow manages to slip out of it, landing on his feet behind Kostoff and jumping towards his corner, making the hot tag.
Joe Hoffman: In comes Brian Hollywood! Kostoff got greedy and it might’ve cost him!
Hollywood comes in like a house on fire, landing punch after punch after punch on Kostoff, but the big man shrugs them off. Brian instead runs the ropes, avoiding a Big Boot by hitting a low dropkick to Kostoff’s other leg. Kostoff lands on the foot he tried to kick Hollywood with, but his landing is rough and he hobbles, giving Hollywood ample time to hit a Chop Block and bring the big man down at the knees. Stevens tries to climb in to hit Hollywood from behind, but Hortega stops him, giving Hollywood enough time to clothesline Stevens over the ropes and to the outside.
Benny Newell: Those shots to the leg looked nasty, Kostoff might be hurt. Key word being ‘might’, Hollywood had better hurry up and capitalise.
When Kostoff gets to his feet, Hollywood tries to catch him with a Paper Cut, but Kostoff simply swats him away like a fly. Kostoff Irish Whips Hollywood into a neutral corner before he can recover, and quickly follows up with a running clothesline. However, when he tries to attempt the move again, he gets cut off at the pass.
Joe Hoffman: Executive Promise! Hollywood hit that out of nowhere! Here’s the cover!

NO! Stevens made the save!
Benny Newell: Stevens must have seen his momentum flash in front of his eyes, but he’s kept his team in the match.
Hortega tries to get Stevens out of the ring, getting between him and the others, as Hollywood and Kostoff both slowly get to their feet. Stevens leaves the ring as instructed, but as Hortega turns his back and sees Hollywood and Kostoff get to their feet, Stevens gets back in the ring and rushes towards Hollywood. He takes a few sidesteps up, goes for a Remember the Alamo right to the side of Hollywood’s head…
But Hollywood ducks, and Stevens hits Kostoff! As Kostoff goes down, Hollywood throws Stevens over the top rope, and tags in Hanson. Hollywood hits a Paper Cut on Kostoff, leaving the big man right in position for Hanson as he flies off the top rope.
Joe Hoffman: Ladykiller! Hanson just hit the Ladykiller on Kostoff!
With Hollywood on the apron and Stevens on the outside, Hanson makes the cover and Hortega makes the count.

Bryan McVay: Here are your winners, Noah Hanson and Brian Hollywood… SEX AAAAAAAAAAND MOOOOOOONEEEEEEEEEY!
“Killing in the Name Of” blares throughout the arena again as Hanson rolls out of the ring, wincing as Hollywood joins him and Hortega raises their arms in victory. In fact, Hollywood seems a lot more enthused in general than Hanson, who looks like he’s hurting from all the offense he took.
Joe Hoffman: That was a close match, but in the end a miscommunication gave Sex and Money the victory.
Benny Newell: Scott Stevens nearly had it in the bag too, but if you take your eye off the ball for one second it can cost you big time.
The camera shows Hollywood and Hanson celebrating one last time, before fading to a quick commercial.
