The camera comes back to inside of the packed Best Arena live here on Turmoil. The crowd can be standing on their feet knowing that there is just one match left on tonight’s card. The camera pans over the audience picking up some of the various signs scattered around before coming to a stop at the announcer’s table where the Hall of Fame duo of Joe Hoffman and Benny Newell are ready to call tonight’s action.
Joe Hoffman: Welcome back to Thursday night Turmoil ladies and gentlemen. We just took our last commercial break of the evening and now it’s time for the main event you’ve all been waiting.
Benny Newell: Are you kidding me Joe? I’ve been praying for this match since the moment Rumble at the Rock ended.
Joe Hoffman: Of course my broadcast partner is referring to the HOW World Championship match that we have coming up next for you. This is the last match we’ll have before the last ever ICONIC here in HOW history.
Benny Newell: Think last ever ICONIC. It’s the most exciting thing and yet saddest thing I’ve ever heard.
Joe Hoffman: Indeed Benny but tonight we will decide just who will walk into ICONIC as the HOW World Champion for the final time.
Benny Newell: Isn’t it obvious? Title about to happen right here before your very eyes! DRINK!!!
Joe Hoffman: Bold prediction as always Benny but tonight the former Champion Jace Parker Davidson gets another shot at wearing the HOW World Championship belt but to do so he has to defeat the current Champion in Scott Stevens.
Benny Newell: Didn’t he just do that last week?
Joe Hoffman: That was a tag team match Benny that wasn’t one on one and that wasn’t for the HOW World Championship belt.
Benny Newell: Like it fucking matters Joe. A win is a win.
Joe Hoffman: But the question is will Jace be able to catch lightning in a bottle twice or will Scott Stevens silence all the doubters and march into ICONIC as the HOW World Champion? Let’s toss it down to Bryan McVay who has tonight’s introductions.
The camera pans over towards the ring where ring announcer Bryan McVay is standing in the center with his microphone in hand.
Bryan McVay: The following match is our main event of the evening and… it’s for the HOW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
The crowd cheers wildly as the light’s in the arena go out. The HOV lights up and the sound of “Onto The Next One” by Jay-Z fills the arena. The crowd erupts in a mixture of mostly boo’s and a few cheers as the former HOW World Champion Jace Parker Davidson makes his way out on stage. Jace bounces around in place in the middle of the stage with a cocky grin on his face as he looks out at the jam packed crowd.
Bryan McVay: Introducing first from Miami, Florida weighing in at 232lbs representing the Best Alliance and Project Ego… here is JACE PARKER DAVIDSONNNNN!!!!!!!!!!
Jace raises his arms into the air as pyro goes off on stage behind him. The former Champion lowers his arms and slowly makes his way down the ramp towards the ring completely ignoring the fans. Jace makes his way up the steel ring steps then walks along the ring apron before stepping through the ropes to enter the ring.
Joe Hoffman: As everyone already knows Jace was the Champion heading into Rumble at the Rock but never showed up for the event. There has been criticism and controversy in the event that transpired afterwards with the so called Poaching of Michael Lee Best and the attack of both Max Kael and Scott Stevens but tonight Jace could prove the only reason he lost that belt was because he wasn’t at Alcatraz for the match.
Benny Newell: As the saying goes Joe. To be the man you have to beat the man and Scott Stevens definitely didn’t beat the man. He can spout off all the nonsense he wants but facts are facts. He never pinned Jace to win the HOW World Championship so in my eyes Jace never really lost that title and tonight he takes back his property.
Jace makes his way over towards the corner and climbs the turnbuckle. Jace gestures that the title is coming home with him tonight as flashbulbs go off all over the arena. Jace hops down off the turnbuckle as his music dies down. The lights in the arena go pitch black, as red lasers and spotlights light up the area as the angelic voice of Lauryn Hill serenades the live crowd. “Ready or not, here I come, you can’t hide Gonna find you and take it slowly Ready or not, here I come, you can’t hide Gonna find you and make you want me” The video screen lights up and flashes across the screen a Texas flag, with the words, “Texas Born. Texas Bred.” “Texas Forever.“ branded into the flag. The crowd reaction is mixed, but there are more cheers than boos, as “Ready or Not” by Fugees plays throughout the PA system. As the chorus begins to fade there is one final image that is displayed across the screen and that message reads in bold, capitalized letters…..WORLD. HEAVYWEIGHT. CHAMPION.
Bryan McVay: And his opponent from Houston, Texas weighing in tonight at 256 lbs.. he is the current HOW World Champion… here is SCOTT ‘THE SCORPION’ STEVENS!!!!!
“Centuries” by Fall Out Boy begins to play. The cheers intensify as the chorus hits the speakers, drawing out the man from Texas. Stevens stands proudly on the HOW stage with his world title fastened around his waist.
Joe Hoffman: No one ever through that we’d see Scott Stevens as the HOW World Champion but he pulled off the impossible at Rumble at the Rock and captured the one belt that has eluded him for years. Yet every single person has stated that Stevens win was nothing more than a fluke but tonight with a win over Jace Parker Davidson in the middle of that ring Stevens will not only prove everyone wrong but roll into ICONIC with huge momentum for his match against Michael Lee Best.
Benny Newell: If Stevens had the ability to do such things do you think it would have taken him this long to become the HOW World Champion? Stevens wants to call Jace a paper Champion but neglects to mention all the title matches he’s had against either Jace or anyone else on the HOW roster where he’s failed miserably. That trend continues tonight, bank on it Joe.
Stevens stands there on stage eyeing Jace in the middle of the ring before he takes off full sprint down the ramp. Stevens slides under the bottom rope and enters the ring. Stevens quickly hurries to his feet and even with his title still strapped around his waist Stevens charges and tackles Jace down to the canvas hard. The crowd explodes as Stevens mounts himself on top of Jace and unleashes a furious assault of right hands to the face.
Joe Hoffman: Stevens isn’t waiting for the bell! He’s taking the fight right to Jace here before the match has even started!
Benny Newell: Fucking cheating cockroach! He knows he can’t beat Jace fair and square so he’s going to try and get himself disqualified!
Referee Matt Boettcher comes over and literally pulls Stevens off of Jace. Boettcher manages to get Stevens to at least take off the HOW World Championship belt then call for the bell to signal the start of this match.
–DING DING–
Jace scurries back up to his feet but Stevens charges and hits Jace with a clothesline that sends him flying over the top rope and down to the arena floor below. Stevens steps through the ropes and exits the ring to give chase to the former HOW World Champion. Stevens grabs a hold of Jace and then leads him over towards the announcer’s table before slamming him down head first onto it. Jace staggers holding his head in pain as Stevens looks out at the screaming crowd at ringside. Stevens stalks over towards Jace who is leaned over the steel guard rail Stevens grabs a hold of Jace but Jace quickly counters by hitting Stevens with a thumb to the eye. Jace grabs a hold of Stevens and then runs him ribs first right into the steel guard rail. Jace backs away from Stevens then gets a running start and leaps into the air. However Stevens catches Jace in mid-air then hits him with a Double S spinebuster that puts him through the steel guard rail. The fans go nuts as Stevens has just broken Jace in half at the start of this match.
Joe Hoffman: Holy christ that steel guard rail just crumbled and snapped like a twig from the power of that Double S spinebuster!
Benny Newell: He’s trying to snap Jace’s spine like a twig so that he won’t be able to wrestle the rest of this match!
Stevens staggers back up to his feet then grabs a hold of Jace by the hair and drags him back up to a vertical base. Stevens rolls Jace under the bottom rope and back into the ring. Stevens slides back into the ring then pulls himself back up to a vertical base. Stevens plants a stiff kick to the mid-section of Jace before reaching down and dragging Jace back up to his feet. Stevens wraps his arms around Jace then spins him around and hits him with an overhead release belly to belly suplex that sends him crashing spine first into the tunbuckle hard. Jace lands on his neck in pain as Stevens slowly stalks his way back up to his feet. Stevens plants his fist on the canvas and waits for Jace to struggle back up to a vertical base. Stevens charges then leaps into the air and hits Jace with a Superman punch to the face that sends him crashing back down to the canvas. In complete control of the match Stevens takes his time grabbing a hold of Jace and pulls him back up to his feet. Stevens lifts Jace up to his shoulders then gets a running start. Stevens leaps into the air and then hits Jace with Houston We Have A Problem right in the center of the ring. Stevens hooks the leg and makes the cover on Jace as Boettcher slides in for the count.
ONE!
TWO!
NO! Jace kicks out before the three count can be made!
Joe Hoffman: Straight brutal before even the opening bell by Stevens. No one saw this coming but somehow Jace managed to kick out of that Death Valley Driver before the three count even after all the damage he’s taken.
Benny Newell: Twice already in this match Stevens should have been disqualified for the things he’s done but Boettcher is just letting him get away with murder here! Do your fucking job or else! Someone get Nigel out here!
Stevens gets back up to his feet then grabs a hold of Jace and pulls him back up to his feet. Stevens plants a boot to the mid-section of Jace then whips him into the turnbuckle spine first hard. Jace hits the turnbuckle hard as Stevens gets a running start. Stevens leaps into the air and goes for a Stinger Splash but Jace moves out of the way at the last second causing Stevens to crash and burn in the corner. Stevens staggers away from the corner but Jace leaps into the air and begins Stevens down to the canvas with a backstabber. Stevens arches his back in pain as Jace rolls up to his feet and tries to shake the cobwebs loose. Jace gets a running start then leaps into the air and hits Stevens with a running senton splash. Jace gets back up to his feet then steps through the ropes and begins climbing the turnbuckle but Stevens is back on his feet.
Joe Hoffman: The tides have turned in this match and now Jace has taken advantage and looks to head to the top rope but Scott Stevens is back on his feet and in hot pursuit.
Benny Newell: Just stay down and take your beating like a man Stevens. No point in trying to act like a credible HOW World Champion here at the eleventh hour.
Jace gets to the top rope but Stevens climbs the turnbuckle and hits Jace with a right hand that causes him to lose his balance and get crotched on the top turnbuckle. Stevens grabs a hold of Jace and hooks him up. Stevens goes for a superplex off the top rope but Jace blocks it and begins firing away with right hands to the ribs and the mid-section of Stevens. Each punch makes Stevens stagger a little bit more until finally Jace hits him with a headbutt that sends him flying off of the turnbuckle and down to the canvas below. Jace steadies himself back on the top rope as once again Stevens climbs back up to a vertical base. Jace leaps off the top rope and hits Stevens with missile dropkick that sends him crashing back down to the canvas. Jace gets back up to his feet then stalks around Stevens as he slowly staggers back up to a vertical base. Jace plants a boot to the mid-section of Stevens then grabs a hold of him. Jace lifts Stevens high into the air and then brings him down to the canvas with an Osaka Street Cutter. Jace hooks the leg and makes the cover on Stevens as Boettcher slides in for the count.
ONE!
TWO!
THR-NO Stevens kicks out before the three count can be made!
Joe Hoffman: Big time move right after the missile dropkick by Jace and I thought we had new Champion but Stevens manages to kick out before the three and stay alive in this match.
Benny Newell: This is the beginning of the end Joe. Stevens might have gotten the drop on Jace early on in this match but now the Conqueror is going to make him suffer.
Jace gets back up to his feet then grabs a hold of Stevens and drags him back up to a vertical base. Jace unleash an assault of knife edged chops to the chest of Stevens before whipping him into the ropes but Stevens reverses the whip and sends Jace into the ropes. Jace rebounds off the ropes but Stevens catches him and hits him with a tilt to whirl backbreaker that sends him crashing down to the canvas. Jace aches his back and howls in pain from all the damage he’s suffered to his spine already as Stevens struggles his way back up to a vertical base. Jace is the first one back up and charges as Stevens with a clothesline but Stevens ducks under it. As Jace turns around Stevens catches him with a boot to the mid-section and plants him with a DDT down to the canvas. Stevens gets back up to his feet then stalks around Jace as he slowly staggers back up to a vertical base. Stevens grabs a hold of Jace then tosses him through the ropes and onto the ring apron. Stevens steps through the ropes then grabs a hold of Jace and lifts him back up to his feet out on the ring apron. Stevens lifts Jace high into the air then jumps off the ring apron to plant Jace spine first down on the apron with a belly to back suplex.
Joe Hoffman: Stevens has been relentlessly attacking the back and spine of the former Champion here tonight. With the amount of damage he’s done one has to think that maybe Stevens is going to go for a submission victory here tonight.
Benny Newell: No way Joe. No fucking way that Scott Stevens makes Jace tap out here tonight. I’m willing to bet my fucking house that it NEVER happens!
Stevens grabs a hold of Jace by the legs and drags him over towards the corner. Stevens looks out at the crowd with a sadistic smirk on his face before yanking hard and crotching Jace along the steel ring post. Jace grabs his crotch in pain but Stevens isn’t done by any means. The HOW World Champion hooks the legs of the former Champion then applies a figure four around the steel ring post. Jace slaps his hands on the canvas and screams in pain as Boettcher comes over and begins his five count for Stevens to release the hold. Of course Stevens takes full advantage of the fact that he doesn’t have to break it until the count of five and does as much damage as possible before being forced to let go. Jace slides away from the corner holding his leg and trying to put some distance between him and the Champion. Stevens slides under the bottom rope and gets back into the ring as Jace tries to hobble back up to a vertical base. Jace swings a wild and desperate right hand at Stevens who easily dodges it. Stevens grabs a hold of Jace and launches him high into the air and connects with Debbie Does Dallas right to the jaw of Jace.
Benny Newell: HOW THE FUCK IS ANY OF THIS LEGAL?!?!
Instead of going for the cover Stevens grabs a hold of Jace by the legs and drags him to the center of the ring. Stevens steps through then locks Jace in Arachnophobia with nowhere to go.
Joe Hoffman: Scott ‘The Hitman’ Stevens is alive and well and we’re just seconds away from Jace tapping out here!
Boettcher drops down and asks Jace if he wants to give it up but Jace screams no as Stevens continues to yank back on the hold. Jace’s back feels like it could literally break as he begins to pull at his own hair from the intense amount of pain. Jace lifts his arm into the air and looks like he’s about to tap out but he stops himself and slowly begins trying to scratch and claw his way to the bottom rope.
Benny Newell: What did I tell you Joe?! Jace is going to get to that bottom rope and Stevens is going home empty handed.
Jace continues to fight his way towards the ropes but Stevens continues to put as much pressure as he possibly can on the hold. Just when it looks like Jace is itches away from the bottom rope Stevens gets to his feet and drags Jace right back to the center of the ring and sits back on the submission hold. The pain becomes too much for Jace to handle and he passes out from the pain.
Joe Hoffman: This is it! Jace has passed out from the pain and now his arm just has to fall three times and this is over!
Boettcher grabs a hold of Jace’s arm and raises it high into the air but it falls limply down to the canvas for a count of one. Boettcher raises Jace’s high into the air once again but for the second time it falls limply down to the canvas for a count of two. Boettcher grabs a hold of Jace’s arm and raises into the air for a final time however this time it doesn’t fall limply to the canvas. Jace powers himself off of the canvas and begins fighting his back over towards the bottom rope. Stevens continues to pull back on the hold but Jace lunges and grabs a hold of the bottom rope and forces Stevens to break the hold. Stevens gets to his feet and raises his arms into the air thinking he’s won but Boettcher informs him the match isn’t over yet. Stevens turns around and shoves Boettcher as Jace staggers back up to his feet. Boettcher threatens to disqualify Stevens but Jace grabs a hold of him and spins him around. Jace goes to plant to a boot to the mid-section but Stevens catches his boot. Jace hops around on one foot but then hits Stevens with a enziguri kick to the back of the head that sends him down to the canvas.
Joe Hoffman: Both men are down here and now we’ll see which one of these men has enough left in the tank to walk away here as the HOW World Champion!
Benny Newell: Come on Jace GET UPPPPPP!!!!!!
Stevens is the first one back up to his feet but Jace charges and hits Stevens with a flying forearm smash to the head that sends him back down to the canvas. Jace gets back up to his feet then stalks around Stevens as he struggles to get back up to a vertical base. Jace gives Stevens a boot to the mid-section then shoves his head between his legs. Jace grabs a hold of Stevens then lifts him into the air and hits him with a turnbuckle powerbomb. Jace turns and races towards the ropes as Stevens staggers away from the turnbuckle. Jace bounces off the ropes and hits Stevens with a spear that takes him down to the canvas hard. Jace gets back up to his feet then steps through the ropes and begins to climb the turnbuckle. Jace perches himself on the top rope as the crowd stands on his feet.
Benny Newell: The Awakening! Stevens is done!
Jace leaps off the top rope going for the shooting star press but Stevens nips up to his feet and then catches Jace in mid-air.
Joe Hoffman: NO! TOXIC STING OUT OF NOWHERE!
Stevens slams Jace down to the canvas with his finisher much to the shock of everyone in the building. Stevens hooks the leg and makes the cover on Jace as Boettcher slides in for the count.
ONE!
TWO!
THREEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Jace got his shoulder up at the last possible second!
Joe Hoffman: How did he kick out of that?!?!
Benny Newell: Holy fuck that was close! DRINK for miracles!
Stevens gets up to his feet and argues with Boettcher over a slow count but Boettcher argues right back with Stevens. Frustrated the Champion grabs a hold of Jace and pulls him back up to a vertical base. Stevens shoves his head between his legs and goes for the Spike Piledriver but Jace blocks it. Stevens tries it again but once again Jace falls to his knees trying to block it. Stevens grips Jace and muscles him up high into the air but Jace counters and takes Stevens down to the canvas with a hurricanrana. Jace scrambles back up to his feet and charges at Stevens but Stevens catches him. Stevens goes for another Double S spinebuster but Jace counters and spikes Stevens with a tornado DDT. Jace gets back up to his feet then steps through the ropes and begins climbing the turnbuckle as Stevens staggers back up to his feet. Stevens has his back turns to Jace who leaps off the top rope and…
Joe Hoffman: SWANTON STUNNER! WHAT A MOVE!!!!
The front flip into a stunner connects and takes Stevens down to the canvas. With his last bit of energy Jace pulls himself up to his feet and races towards the ropes. Stevens tries to pull himself back up but Jace leaps into the air and…
Benny Newell: BOW TO THE MOTHERFUCKING KING!!!
The curb stomp connects driving Stevens’ skull down to the canvas. Jace falls down on top of Stevens and makes the cover as Boettcher slides in for the count.
ONE!
TWO!
THREEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bryan McVay: Here is your winner….AND NEWWWWWWW….HOW WORLD CHAMPION! JACE! PARKER! DAVIDSONNNNN!!!!!!!!!!
Joe Hoffman: Unbelievable match! But tonight Jace has come back and regained the HOW World Championship belt for a third time from Scott Stevens!
Benny Newell: I told you Joe! The Conqueror gonna Conquer and now he’s going to ICONIC!!!! DRINK!!!!!!
The sound of “Onto The Next One” by Jay-Z fills the arena as Matt Boettcher grabs a hold of the HOW World Championship belt and lays it down over the chest of Jace. Slowly but surely Jace pulls himself back up to his feet then raises the HOW World Championship belt high into the air. Suddenly the lights in the arena go out and everything goes pitch black. When the lights come back on a hooded figure is standing in the middle of the ring behind Jace with a steel chair in hand.
Benny Newell: What the fuck?!?!
Joe Hoffman: That hood! It’s the same one Mike Best wore when he returned to HOW! Is it him?! Is he going to turn on Jace here for stealing the HOW World Championship belt from Stevens?!?!
Jace turns around and gets blasted with a shot to the face with the steel chair that sends him crashing down to the canvas. The hooded figure stands over Jace before removing the hood and revealing themselves to the world.
Joe Hoffman: OH MY GOD IT’S NOT MIKE… IT’S TARA! TARA DAVIDSON IS HERE FOR REVENGE AGAINST HER HUSBAND!
Benny Newell: SOMEONE STOP THAT FUCKING CUNT! PROTECT THE CHAMPION!!!
Even with a knee brace on her injured leg Tara takes the steel chair and sets it up in the center of the ring. Tara grabs a hold of Jace and tosses him over towards the chair. Tara turns and races towards the ropes as Jace begins to try to struggle his way back up to his feet. Tara bounces off the ropes then leaps into the air and connects with the Goodnight Kiss that puts Jace face first through the seat of that steel chair. Jace rolls out of the ring clearly in pain holding his face as Tara stands tall in the middle of the ring holding the HOW World Championship belt high into the air but suddenly the arena is filled with that sound of…
THAT music…
…..but it’s not the music you are used to….no…it’s the ORIGINAL music…..from #HOW001…..
Back in Black
As the power chords hit and the crowd in the Best Arena stand as one we see Lee Best, GOD of HOW, makes his way out from behind the curtain.
This is not a cancer stricken, woe is me, type of walk….nah…this is a walk of a man who seems to have gotten some great news recently and has a newfound spring in his step.
And he is not alone.
Directly behind him and to the right is his Son…Michael Lee Best….rightfully standing next to his Father…and trailing behind him is Ryan McKenna, Jatt Starr, and John Pariah.
The men fall in line next to Lee as they take center stage on the entrance ramp looking down at the two men who just battled for the World Championship and Tara who is still holding the World Title…..as the crowd is buzzing.
As the music fades out the crowd picks it up and begins chanting…
BACK IN BLACK
BACK IN BLACK
BACK IN BLACK
The crowd then erupts into a standing ovation for the sight of the newly formed Lee Best led stable….the new Best Alliance.
As Lee brings the mic to his mouth his hometown crowd goes quiet……completely knowing their role in these proceedings.
Lee Best: First off let me congratulate Best Alliance member Jace Parker Davidson on regaining the World Title….a title that quite honestly we all know he gave fucking away at The Rock in October.
A Thank you Jace chant begins but is quickly drummed out as Lee continues….again the Chicago crowd knowing their role.
Lee Best: Granted you are feeling some additional pain right now courtesy of your ungrateful wife Tara….which by the way honey…..put that fucking title down..its not yours……NOW.
Tara smirks at Lee and holds it higher in the air…flaunting her seemingly victory here in tonight.
Lee Best: Listen here…..you honestly think you deserve to even be out here right now? What the fuck have you done besides ride the coattails of your husband here in HOW? People bitch about David Black and others who don’t go above and beyond outside the ring…..but I ask…what the fuck do you do? Do you guest on the HOR? Do you help produce shows when you are not booked? Do you do appearances?
Lee pauses as he lets that sit in with EVERYONE.
Lee Best: Nah bitch….all you are is someone that got streaky earlier this year and had a nice little run while I was out sick and your hubby was basically running the company. What happens when you get the first real test of the year?? You flaked the fuck out….and now you wanna come back and fuck with my World Champion……..homie don’t play that……
The feed pans out as we see Jace making his way up the ramp as Lee was talking. Lee now pauses as Jace stands next to GOD and begins confiding in him as Lee holds the mic out with his left hand…….literally in the face of his SON who is breaking into a cold sweat from wanting to reach out and grab the mic and go off….and as he reaches out to do just that….Lee brings the mic back up to his mouth….
Lee Best: You see Tara….I owe your husband. YOU OWE ME. You are an ungrateful twat who has only shown ANY fire when going to fucking twitter and talking shit….and even that was few and far between. You are a result of nothing more than a slimmed down roster and your GRATEFUL husband here running the show………and because I OWE your husband I am granting him his wish…..
Lee turns towards his SON and winks…which obviously scares the shit outta Michael.
Lee Best: Instead of facing my SON for the World Title and due to your husband wanting to humiliate you at the final ICONIC, I am granting his wish and it will be Husband versus Wife for the Title at ICONIC.
There is a mixed reaction from the crowd and the faces of the Best Alliance members show mixed emotions as well….and Lee sees it as he turns towards his final Best Alliance and focuses in on his Son.
Lee Best: I have waited a very long time for us to be here on the same stage in my arena once again Michael. I took a giant leap of faith to bring you back into the fold as even Family is thicker than #97red…..I even gave you the match you have repeatedly told me that was four years in the making and no title or stipulation could take away from that match versus Stevens.
The feed splits now as we see Lee addressing Michael and Stevens at ringside leaning up against the ring listening just as intently as the crowd.
Lee Best: I know you want to defeat Stevens and I know that you secretly want it to be in the HOFC format due to it not being for the title…..but why didn’t you just come out and say it Son….why did you not just come out and TELL ME that you WANTED….YOU NEED….to be the final World Champion in High Octane Wrestling’s history…….look me in the my motherfucking eye and tell me that I am lying…..LOOK AT ME!!!
Lee grabs his Son by the chin and Michael looks up at his father and does not respond….his eyes tell it all.
Lee then smiles and turns back towards the ring.
Lee Best: Bitch…didn’t I just tell you to put that title down? Do I really need to just tell the boys to run down there and cunt punt you? Do you think you could escape thru my crowd? Honestly? Fans…if Tara tries to run…whoever can stop the bitch will get ringside seats at ICONIC and $500,000………
The crowd is absolutely buzzing and a people begin to rush down towards the ring barrier in anticipation of Tara trying to escape the Best Alliance.
Lee Best: Your move princess.
Looking around, Tara slowly backpedals and hands the World Championship to Bryan McVay who immediately begins running up the ramp towards Lee and the Best Alliance.
Lee Best: Good girl….smart girl.
The cameras capture McVay giving the title back to Jace who proudly puts it around his waist and falls into line with the rest of the Best Alliance as Lee finishes up.
Lee Best: You see folks…what is old is new again. Things have made a great turn for the better for me personally and that can only mean good things professionally. The men standing up here on this stage with me are going to ride into ICONIC representing the past, present and future of High Octane Wrestling and quite honestly some will not make it past ICONIC…and we know that. But for right now…in this fucking moment…..we are The Best Alliance and I am your motherfucking GOD.
The crowd erupts as everyone stands and cheers and the members of the BA stand a little taller…..all but for the SON…who feigns excitement….being GOD….Lee smiles.
Lee Best: Oh ya…one final thing……because I am GOD and for no other reason than that….ahemwinkwinkahem……my Son will obviously take on Scott Stevens….but now in a very special stipulation…one that should raise my Son’s desire to win….
Lee turns towards Michael and continues.
Lee Best: Michael Lee Best will take on Scott Stevens at ICONIC in a Falls Count Anywhere match…….with the winner taking on the World Champion in the new main event of ICONIC!!!!!
Michael begins smiling and gives Lee his best “I fucking knew it” look….while Jace can only smirk.
Lee Best: That is right……I KNOW my Son will beat Stevens and I KNOW Jace will beat his whore wife….and I KNOW Michael versus Jace for the World Title will provide the most ICONIC moments of the shows history.
With that Lee drops the mic and hugs his Son and with an arm around him, he leads the Best Alliance to the back.
The final shot we get of Turmoil is a split screen of the Best Alliance leaving with Mike and Jace exchanging a look while on the other half of the screen we see Stevens and Tara looking on….
Can they break up the holy plans….or will they wilt under the pressure???
That question is on everyone’s minds as Turmoil officially comes to an end as we fade to black.
