The show returns from commercial just as a mashed up tune which could possibly be called "Amazing, I Stand Alone" by God, Smack Kanye West hits the speakers.
Joe Hoffman: Welcome back, folks! I was going to run down the rest of this action packed edition of Turmoil, but it seems Scott Stevens is eager for his match to begin.
Benny Newell: Why's that stopping you? Just talk over this dick's shitty music, that's what I'd do! What's he doing stealing David Black's entrance music anyway? That's so fucking fisher price!
Joe Hoffman: Black's a Ground Zero member, Benny, I thought you didn't like him, let alone care about him?
Benny Newell: I don't, but he's a HOW wrestler and not some shitty fisher price shitting shit shit! Drink!
Hoffman shakes his head as Stevens steps out on stage to a mixed reaction and Bryan McVay raises his mic to his lips.
Bryan McVay: The following Championship match is scheduled for one fall and is for the HOW ICON Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, hailing from Houston, Texas, he weighs in at 256 lbs, "THE SCORPION" SCOTT STEVENS!
He makes his way down to the ring and climbs in as his music is replaced by "Drink, Drank, Drunk" by Hellyeah as the ICON Champion steps out on stage to a chorus of boos.
Bryan McVay: And introducing his opponent, hailing from New York City, New York, weighing in at 265 lbs, he represents the Best Alliance and is the reigning, defending HOW ICON Champion, SCOTTYWOOD!
The fans boo him some more as he makes his way down the ramp.
Benny Newell: How can they boo this amazing athlete? It's so disrespectful of them to boo Scottywood!
Joe Hoffman: Just a few shows ago you were calling Scottywood the worst wrestler who ever lived, Benny!
Benny Newell: Well, yeah, he wasn't part of the Best Alliance then!
Matt Boettcher takes the ICON title off Scottywood and hands it to Bryan McVay before calling for the bell to start the match. The two no-nonsense wrestlers lunge at each other in a furious exchange of strikes. Stevens keeps up an assault of chops and punches, while Scottywood mixes in some kicks for good measure. Scottywood throws his patented Ice Kick but Stevens has it scouted and ducks out the way, leaving Scottywood to spin around full circle. Stevens grabs Scotty's head in one hand and slams their heads together!
Scottywood stumbles backwards while Stevens shakes the cobwebs out his out head after that strike. Stevens narrowly avoids Scottywood's clothesline on the rebound. They both rebound off opposite ropes and Stevens attempts a Yakuza Kick which misses it's target. He turns to see Scottywood coming back at him with what looks like a clothesline. He ducks but Scottywood immediately grabs his head and drops for a spiked DDT! Scottywood gets up and taps on his head as if to imply he is more intelligent than Stevens. The crowd boo, naturally.
Joe Hoffman: What a furious exchange in the opening minutes of the match! It was neck and neck to begin with, but Scottywood used his experience to turn things in his favour.
Benny Newell: What are you talking about? Neck and neck? Scott Stevens isn't on Scottywood's level, he's a jobber!
Scottywood hasn't let the challenger to his title get a breather and continues to stomp away on him. Scottywood pulls Stevens up to his feet hooks in a front face-lock and leaps, looking for a tornado DDT, but Stevens uses his size advantage to block it and bring Scottywood's feet back down on to the canvas for a moment before slinging him overhead with a northern lights suplex! He bridges for the pin.
One!
Two!
Kickout! Scottywood gets a shoulder up and springs to his feet, backing off to the corner in surprise of Stevens' explosive counter. Stevens gets up a bit slower, still getting his bearings from the DDT. He charges at Scottywood and hits a stinger splash in the corner. Stevens grabs Scottywood's head and jumps forward to faceplant Scottywood on his knee. Stevens follows up with a crisp head & arm suplex, sending Scottywood flying across the ring. Scottywood rolls a couple of times with momentum and a few more to bail out the ring. Stevens tries to go after him, but Matt Boettcher gets in the way and tells him to back off and let Scottywood get back in the ring.
Joe Hoffman: Stevens turns things around in a heart beat with that amazing counter and continued offence. All Scottywood could do is escape to the outside for a breather.
Benny Newell: What do you mean, all he could do? That's a legitimate tactic! Stevens is the shady one, with all those cheap suplexes!
Joe Hoffman: What's cheap about a suplex?
Benny Newell: Everything!
The ref's count reaches 8 and Scottywood rolls in the ring and back out again as Stevens rushes at him. Again the ref gets in his way, but Stevens backs off and gets out the ring on the adjoining side. Stevens rounds the corner, but Scottywood isn't there. He rushes around the next corner and gets taken out by Scottywood who was crouched down to ambush him! Scottywood's leaping knee sends Stevens crashing into the guardrail. Scottywood launches Stevens shoulder first into the ring post. Realising the ten count is almost up, Scottywood rolls Stevens back into the ring and slides in after him. Scottywood stamps on Stevens' face a few times before picking him up in a front face-lock to his a sit-out Scottybomb! He holds for the pin.
One...
Two...
Three! No! Stevens gets a shoulder up just in time and the crowd go wild, cheering him on. Scottywood is livid, arguing with Matt Boettcher that he was counting too slow.
Benny Newell: Stopping being such a biased fuckhead, Boettcher! Scottywood won it with that one!
Joe Hoffman: He isn't biased at all, Benny, that was a fair count.
Benny Newell: You would say that, you're biased too!
Scottywood picks Stevens up and slaps him across the face as he talks trash. This seemingly wakes Stevens up as he head butts Scottywood square on the bridge of the nose. Scotty clutches his face as he stumbles back but regains his footing and charges at Stevens, who slips around his back and hits a German suplex! He rolls through and hits another and rolls through again to hit a final third, bridging suplex!
One...
Two...
Thre-NO! At the last moment Scottywood kicks out! Stevens pulls himself up with the ring ropes and looks at Scottywood, as if asking himself what it takes to put Scottywood away. Scottywood gets to his knees and Stevens runs at him hitting a knee to his head. With Scottywood back on the mat, in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go, Stevens locks in a crippler crossface!
Joe Hoffman: THE VENOMOUS WRATH OF THE GODDESS SELKET!
Benny Newell: Gay. The gayest of gays. Gayer than gay. Super gay.
Scottywood thrashes in agony as Stevens wrenches back hard on his head. Scottywood tries to crawl to the ropes but doesn't get too far before it looks like he is ready to tap! He holds his hand above the mat, shaking it as he fights the pain. He swings the hand down, but instead of tapping he uses the momentum to roll himself and Stevens over, pinning him!
One!
Tw-Stevens breaks the hold and rolls out of the pin. Stevens gets to his feet and slings Scottywood into the corner, punching him in the gut and head over and over before lifting him up onto the top turnbuckle. Stevens climbs up to the top rope and pulls Scottywood up standing. Scottywood tries to fight back, throwing punches to Stevens' gut, but Stevens silences his protests with a head butt. Stevens captures Scottywood's head and arm, ready for a suplex.
Joe Hoffman: That suplex did serious damage to Scottywood earlier in the match, it's guaranteed to win the match from the top rope!
Benny Newell: Don't be stupid, Scottywood can take that move and more, he's hardcore, man!
Before Stevens can hit the move, however, Scottywood lifts him up in a fireman's carry!
Joe Hoffman: OH MY GOD! He's looking to hit the Game Misconduct off the top turnbuckle! He's crazy!
Benny Newell: I don't know, Hoffman, he's staring at the ringside mats pretty good.
Joe Hoffman: He's going to hit it to the outside?! HE'S INSANE!
Stevens, however, elbows Scottywood's head repeatedly, forcing him to lower Stevens. The moment Stevens feet are back on the ropes, he hops off them and pulls on the ropes hard, causing Scottywood to lose balance and crotch himself on the turnbuckles. Stevens pulls him off into a fireman's carry of his own and hits a devastating Death Valley Driver! He follows up with an overly theatrical elbow drop, which Scottywood rolls out the way of. Both are back to their feet and locking up in the middle of the ring. They exchange holds, each having an answer to the other, until Scottywood kicks Stevens in the gut and nails an evenflow DDT!
Benny Newell: SDT! YES! SCOTTYWOOD HAS WON!
Joe Hoffman: The ref hasn't made the count yet, Benny!
One...
Two...
Three! Scottywood gets up to celebrate as one of our announcers joins in.
Benny Newell: YES! YES! YES! SCOTTYWOOD RETAINS! YES!
Joe Hoffman: Wait, Matt Boettcher hasn't called for the bell! He's pointing to Stevens' leg on the bottom rope! The match continues!
Scottywood turns around to see the ref's motions and his jaw drops. He can be heard shouting "But I won!" over and over. Stevens storms to his feet and hits Scottywood with a Yakuza Kick and hefts him up for a tombstone piledriver, leaps and sitouts, spiking Scottywood's head into the mat! He covers as the crowd explode.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE-KICKOUT AT THE LAST MOMENT! The fans go wild at this very close match. Stevens picks Scottywood up and signals for the end, grabbing Scottywood's head for the Toxic Sting, but Scottywood shoves him into the ropes, picking him up in another fireman's carry for the Game Misconduct. Stevens slips down the back and rolls Scottywood up, but he rolls straight through to his feet. Stevens springs up...
Joe Hoffman: TOXIC STING!
Benny Newell: NO! HE CAN'T DO THAT! THAT'S CHEATING!
Stevens makes the cover on the twitching Scottywood!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE! SCOTTYWOOD KICKS OUT! NO! JUST A MOMENT TOO LATE!
Matt Boettcher calls for the bell as Stevens' mashed up theme tune hits the speakers.
Bryan McVay: Here is your winner, in 18 minutes and 49 seconds, and NEW HOW ICON CHAMPION, "THE SCORPION" SCOTT STEVENS!
The fans cheer wildly as Stevens lifts the ICON Championship belt high in the air.
Benny Newell: No! This can't happen! Scottywood was meant to win! Now he's in the Best Alliance he should be unbeatable!
Joe Hoffman: Everyone loses sometime, Benny, and Scottywood put up a hell of a fight, possibly the closest match I've seen in a while. Stevens edges through after managing to hit his finishing move first and becomes the new ICON Champion!
Benny Newell: Don't rub it in, you biased fuck. Scott Stevens cheated and I can prove it! He used and illegal counter!
Joe Hoffman: An illegal counter?
Benny Newell: Yes! An illegal counter! He countered the Game Misconduct twice! That's illegal!
Joe Hoffman: If you say so, Benny. Anyway, folks, stay tuned as we still have Ground Zero's David Black taking on Maximilian de Best-Kael and the reunited Ascended Supremacy in a handicap match against Mike Best. First, we have some commercials.
The show leaves Stevens celebrating in the ring to a standing ovation from the fans and cuts to commercials.
