PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION
From the moment that Eli signed his contract with 4CW to this very point in time, he has gone through a rather swift rate of maturing. At first his entire purpose in life seemed to be to get laid as much as possible, with as many women as possible, regardless of what happened in the ring. Since then, his eyes have been opened to a number of things he truly desires. He’s still supremely arrogant about his physical good looks but places a large emphasis on two factors in his life and how he values himself. The first is all things Genevie, his wife, with whom he has never had a closer relationship. The second is his career. There is legitimately nothing he won’t do to achieve success in the professional wrestling industry. Evidence of such comes from an evening where he shared personal videos with his doctor of his wife enjoying herself on an airplane, simply so that he could be medically cleared to compete when he really shouldn’t have been. Personal family issues continue to plague him and trouble him, tormenting his soul from time to time.
Inside the ring he has developed a bit of a mean streak, no longer seeking to simply win matches but to win them emphatically. He has learned to use his areas of strength instead of playing into other competitors fighting styles, which he had done throughout the first few matches of his career. He prefers to focus on a single area or vulnerability and attack it until his opponent is weak enough there is little he can do to stop Eli’s onslaught.
APPEARANCE DESCRIPTION
Much like his personality and the changes that have occurred in the last six months, Eli’s taste in clothing and attire has changed as well. On most days you can find him in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt with a grey zip up hoodie. He has, however, developed a taste for the finer things in his life, which likely can be attributed to his wife, and so enjoys tailored suits and the opportunities that present themselves to wear those suits.
IN-RING GEAR:
He wears wrestling trunks or, as Jason Cashe would call them, underroo’s that are splashed with the colors red, white and blue. Across the back his first name is written with a crown replacing the usual dot of the “i”. He wears both knee pads and elbow pads which match in coloring to his trunks. His elbow pads bear his initials on them as well. He also wears wrestling boots, although those are solely black in color. On his way to the ring Eli will wear a black leather jacket that was a gift from his wife.
STYLE & MOVESET
WRESTLING STYLE: Eli is a technically precise wrestler who prefers to use his ground game to wear his opponent down. From a striking standpoint, he is a defensive striker with extensive training in Krav Maga, preferring to use his opponent's momentum against them and counter their attacks rather than be the aggressor. If need be he has the ability to use high risk moves but primarily those are used out of desperation, or in big matches when he’s looking to change the tide of the match, or to put an exclamation point on it.

CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Eli can remember brief glimpses of his mother from his childhood. She was a pale faced woman with hair as black as coal, but otherwise he remembers nothing of her. Instead, in a Dickens-esque twist of fate, a mysterious benefactor paid for the expenses of his upbringing. In his early years a full time nanny was required to take care of him and watch over him but as he grew older her role in his life was scaled back. From an early age it became apparent that he was athletically gifted, but it was not until his junior year of high school where a high profile retired professional wrestler turned sports agent named Andrew Blake took notice of him. He is the reason that Eli finds himself in the professional wrestling business. When he was fully focused on wrestling while in college, it was Andrew who saw to it that he took time to find a way to vent the anger and frustration that naturally comes as a part of life. His outlet? Krav Maga, a brutally efficient form of quick strikes and counter attacks. He was never going to be big enough to be a bouncer or a bodyguard, but he found that Krav Maga taught him he could easily handle such men if he needed to do so.
For a week he was a competitor for Deathcore Wrestling until the company was forced to close due to circumstances surrounding the death of one of its employees. Though none of the matches were aired on live television, Eli competed in a dark match against Shaun Andrews. He has no proof that he beat Shaun Andrews in that match but he lays claim to victory over him and rumor has it the men who were associated with the every day operation of that company would substantiate his claims. Upon being freed from his contract, Eli was in close contact with newfound friend Gavin Masterson. After lengthy discussion, the two came to the decision that they would head in the same direction professionally.
That direction would almost immediately fall apart as Gavin would, immediately after their televised debut on Uprising, choose to retire and return home, a face which become a point of bitterness for Eli over the next few weeks. Immediately Eli was a success working for Paul Knight, handing Chris Mosh a decisive defeat in his first match, defeating Aamon for the Primetime Title in his second match and then in his final match as a member of the Uprising Roster in Four Corners Wrestling, he defended his Primetime Championship against Lauryn Wolfe at Ante Up. During these early weeks of his career, Eli would develop a close personal relationship with Genevie Carmody and soon would enter into a relationship that has seemingly defined the two of them to a certain extent because of their extensive use of social media to engage one another and allow fans into their lives. At best it is controversial and at worse it is destructive but for the two of them it works.
After Ante Up, Paul Knight took his ball to Mexico to play with donkeys and Nevaeh’s engorged clitoris. Eli, on the other hand, remained a member of the 4CW roster, signing a contract with the Adrenaline roster where he again would make an immediate impact. Despite having ribs which had been broken at Ante Up in his match with Lauryn Wolfe, Eli won two decisive victories in a row. The first against Maddox Lucien and the second against Bryan Laughlin. From there the wheels began to proverbially fall off. Though he and Genie had aligned themselves with Perry Wallace and Kaysie Sherrell, as well as Jason P and Tara Davidson, they struggled to make their mark in the tag team tournament at Bad Company II, suffering his first loss in 4CW at the hands of Johnny Evil and Adrian Tanner in the first round of the tournament. The next week would see him lose a hotly contested match against Jason Cashe, with still injured ribs. Adrenaline 54 would see Eli and Genie be removed from competition after Eli was jumped backstage and brutally attacked by Keith Daniels, incapacitating him and placing him in the hospital for an extended stay.
Heading into Fright Night questions surrounded images that had been made public by Sativa Nevaeh concerning the true status of Genie and Eli’s relationship and the possibility of an extramarital affair with Keith Daniels, Eli’s opponent in the qualifying rounds of the Warzone of Horrors match. At Fright Night, after a low blow to Keith Daniels by Genevie, Eli won the match by pinfall and moved onto the Warzone of Horrors main event match up with seven other qualified opponents. The match was a brutal one that saw his two friends, JPD and Tara, plunge from the top of a cage through the commentators table. With Genies help in subduing Lauryn Wolfe, Eli ascended the ladder and captured the number one contenders contract for the 4CW Title, and official victory in the Warzone of Horrors match, for himself.

REGULAR ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION
The lights around the arena go dim as the sounds of a guitar riff begin to reverberate from the speakers around the building. On the screens above the entrance way flash highlights of Elijah Carlson’s tenure in 4CW, with emphasis on his match against Jair and his title defense against Scott Stevens at All or Nothing. As the video clips begin to play on, the opening lyrics of Alter Bridges “My Champion” begin.
”May this be your victory song
A song for you when I am gone
Reminding you of what you’re meant to be.
A gift to bring you clarity
To show you that your destiny
Is not defined by what you’ve failed to see
No”
While Myles Kennedy’s voice drags on the final word of the opening verse, the stage is flooded with bright white lights as Elijah Carlson emerges from the backstage area wearing his usual black trunks with his first name written across the back, a crown dotting the I, while a mixture of boo’s and cheers reigning down upon him. Paying little attention to the fans, Eli begins his walk down the ramp toward the ring as the lyrics to the song roll on.
”May this lift you up
When you feel you’ll fall again
You cannot win, no
Hope these words are enough
For you to be strong, my friend”
POWERS: ”Making his way to the ring standing six feet one inch tall and weighing in at two hundred and ten pounds… he is.... ELIJAH CCAARRLLSSOONN!!!”
At the bottom of the ramp he looks to his left and spots a young kid reaching out to try and slap hands with him. After a moment of hesitation, Eli shrugged his shoulders and reached out to receive “five” from the kid before turning his attention back to the ring. With ease he ascended the steel ring steps, stepping through the middle and top ropes. As he enters the ring he moves to the far turnbuckle and steps up to the middle rope as the chorus of boo’s and cheers once more erupt around the arena. Unphased by it, Eli points at his chest before hopping down back to the mat.
