Ricky Stevens is a second generation wrestler. His father, Cary Stevens, is a legendary wrestler from Texas and in the Southern region during the territory days. He is a part of the Stevens Dynasty that includes older brother, Scott Stevens, and his middle brother, George Stevens. In the recent few years his cousin, Bo Stevens, has been training to become a professional wrestler to continue the Stevens legacy.
A heart attack inside the ropes, it didn’t take Ricky long to wow fans in the U.S. with his combination of speed, technique and brute force … Held countless regional titles during his decade in the ring. Has fought in more than 20 countries, including Qatar, Dubai, Canada, Germany, U.K., Italy, India, China, Japan and Belgium … He gained his international fame as one-half of the dominant tag team The Burning Blood Ravens of Perdition with tag partner Ash Darkstone and manager/wife, Drusilla Danes. The Blood Ravens took the tag scene by storm when they dominated every major independent promotion as an undefeated team where they had to vacate the titles when they wouldn’t sign exclusive deals with those promotions. They competed overseas in a ten country tag tournament all over Europe and Asia to crown the best tag team in the world. While still an active competitor began training the next generation of wrestlers at The Bar of Professional Wrestling Academy … Was instrumental in helping current superstars Bo Stevens, Mike Lang, and his wife, Drusilla Danes early in their careers … Eventually opened his own training ground, in San Francisco, California.
Ricky's mission at The Bar of Professional Wrestling Academy is to maximize athletic potential and make sure to turn everyone into a master of all trades, learning not just the showmanship of sport’s entertainment in the U.S., or the hard-hitting and submission-based style of Japan, the technical proficiency of the catch as catch can style of the U.K. but also the dazzling art of Mexican lucha libre.
