BOARDWALK WRESTLING INTERNET CHAMPIONSHIP
BOARDWALK WRESTLING VS. HIGH OCTANE WRESTLING
SCOTT STEVENS VS. CJ O'DONNELL
JOHNSON: "It's now time for some cross promotional wrestling as we'll be hosting a showdown between High Octane Wrestling's, Scott Stevens, and the defending Boardwalk Wrestling Internet Champion, CJ O'Donnell!"
VASSA: "This should be a fun one to watch but to be honest with you, I don't know anything about these guys. They could hit their trademark and finishers the entire night and I wouldn't know the difference."
JOHNSON: "Lucky for you I always do my homework! Just sit back and enjoy the show, Vinny. I got you covered."
VASSA: "Why is this match taking place here anyway?"
JOHNSON: "Apparently these two couldn't agree on a location to have this match so Perry Wallace stepped in and offered the two a chance to wrestle on neutral ground."
VASSA: "Perry... always thinking about business. I can guarantee you that he did this more for his personal gain."
JOHNSON: "Say what you will about the man but this is primed to be a great match and a chance for the fans here to see what life outside of 4CW has to offer."
VASSA: "Would I be an asshole if I said that they will more than likely be disappointed?"
JOHNSON: "When has anything ever stopped you before from being an asshole?"
VASSA: "Good point!"
POWERS: "The following contest will be for the Boardwalk Wrestling Internet Championship!"
The lights in the arena go pitch black, as red lasers and spotlights light up the area. The video screen lights up and flashes across the screen a Texas flag, with the words, “Texas Born. Texas Bred.” “Texas Forever.“ branded into the flag.
POWERS: "Introducing to the ring from Houston, Texas and representing High Octane Wrestling, weighing in at two hundred fifty six pounds and standing six feet, six inches tall. He is "The Scorpion" and "The Bad Ass From Texas", SCOTT STEVENS!!!"
The crowd reaction is mixed, but there are more cheers than boos, as the opening guitar riffs and “Hellraiser” by Motorhead begins to play throughout the PA system. The cheers intensify as the chorus hits the speakers, drawing out the man from Texas. Walking down the aisle, he fists bumps some of his fans while raising a fist at a few of the more vocal bashers. As he finally gets to the ring, he climbs the nearest turnbuckle and enters through the ropes. Walking to his corner, he then looks over the crowd before making a throat slash gesture and then dropping to the mat.
VASSA: "So this is the best that High Octane Wrestling has to offer?"
JOHNSON: "I don't know about the best but we'll find out soon enough when CJ makes his way down to the ring."
VASSA: "That's a big boy! He looks like he could seriously do some damage in the ring."
JOHNSON: "I don't know if you've been paying attention or not Vinny but apparently Scott Stevens broke CJ O'Donnell's arm. I'm curious as to how this match will play out with CJ suffering from the injury."
VASSA: "I assume he's wearing one so I have to ask, will that cast be considered a foreign object?"
JOHNSON: "That's completely up to the refs discretion."
VASSA: "I'm not going to lie. I hope he can legally use it as a weapon. I mean it is attached to his body after all!"
As "Bitter End" by The Veer Union begins to play the black curtains begins to move. Out steps Julliet Brooks and Boardwalk Wrestling's Internet Champion, "The Distinguished" CJ O’Donnell to a chorus off boos. CJ and Julliet stand on the top of the entrance ramp embracing the boos. As O'Donnell and Brooks walk arm and arm down the aisle CJ starts to yell at the fans in attendance tonight.
POWERS: "And the champion making his way to the ring from Boston, Massachusetts and accompanied by Julliet Brooks, weighing in at one hundred sixty pounds and standing five feet, ten inches tall. He is "The Distinguished" and the Boardwalk Wrestling Internet Champion... CJ O'DONNELL!!!"
O'Donnell hands Brooks the Internet Title as he climbs up the ring steps as he wipes his feet on the top of the steps before entering the ring. CJ hops over the top rope and raises his hands in the air as he gets another chorus of jeers from the fans. O'Donnell lifts up the middle rope as Julliet enters as she raises the Internet Title over her head. CJ begins to stretch in the corner with a smirk on his face and as the referee is about to call for the bell, he holds up one finger. CJ walks over to the ropes and asks for a microphone.
JOHNSON: "This wasn't in the schedule. These two have already exchanged words. It's now time to get down to business!"
VASSA: "Come on, Steve! Let him talk a little more trash. Everyone loves a little trash talk!"
After being handed a mic, CJ turns back and looks across the ring at Stevens who stares at him from the other side.
O'DONNELL: "Scott... Scott... Scott... You think you know me so well, don't you? Well I have a little surprise for you!"
Julliet then pulls the cast off of the right arm of CJ's as the entire arena goes silent.
O'DONNELL: "That's right Stevens! I am all healed up, you bitch!"
CJ throws the cast at Stevens and immediately charges towards him as the ref steps out of the way and signals for the bell.
DING!!! DING!!!
VASSA: "OH COME ON!!! I want to see the cast being used as a weapon!"
JOHNSON: "That levels the playing field as both men are healthy and no one will have any excuses with the outcome of this match!"
Closing in on Stevens, CJ drives a right fist into the side of his head. Julliet Brooks then exits the ring while CJ locks onto Stevens wrist and sends him to the ropes with an Irish whip. After rebounding off the ropes, Stevens comes back only to get taken to the canvas face first with a drop toe hold. CJ then quickly pops back up to his feet and stomps on Stevens back over and over like a mad man. CJ then grabs him by the head and jerks him up to his feet but just as he stands, Stevens pushes CJ back a few steps and creates a little distance between the two. CJ then throws a right hook but gets stopped in his tracks as Stevens blocks it with his left arm and then plants his right fist into CJ's mouth. Shaking it off, CJ throws another punch but gets blocked again and this time Stevens pulls him in close. Wrapping his arms around CJ's body, Stevens then lifts him up from the mat and spins his body, releasing CJ and throwing him across the ring like a ragdoll.
VASSA: "Scott Stevens clearly has the size advantage over CJ O'Donnell. They say things are bigger in Texas!"
JOHNSON: "Looking at you one would think that you're from Texas then if you believe that saying."
VASSA: "Me? No. I take that back! From the waist down, I am from Texas!"
Rolling across the ring, CJ stops with one knee on the mat. He then pops his head up to look at Stevens who is then charging towards him. Once close enough, Stevens kicks his foot up and goes for a semi big boot to CJ only to miss as CJ rolls out of the way and avoids contact. Popping back to his feet, CJ positions himself behind Stevens and goes to wrap his arms around his waist. Before Cj can get his hands locked, Stevens rips them apart and then throws an elbow back, hitting CJ in the mouth and knocking him away. Before Stevens can get his feet settled after turning around, Stevens kicks him in the stomach and knocks the breath away from him. Locking onto Stevens wrist, CJ then throws him to the ropes behind him. Watching as Stevens bounces off the ropes, CJ then bends over and as Stevens gets near, he then stands straight up and flips him over his head and down to the canvas with a back drop.
With Stevens down on his back, Cj then turns to the ropes himself and as he comes back, he lands a quick elbow drop across Stevens chest. Climbing on top of Stevens, CJ then unloads with rapid elbow strikes to the head. After hitting Stevens with multiple shots, CJ then stands to his feet. Once up, CJ then drops back down and drives his knee into Stevens inner thigh. CJ then grabs ahold of Stevens arm and pulls him up from the mat and to his feet. Hooking his arm over Stevens head, CJ then goes to lift him up for a suplex but as he does, Stevens hooks his leg and remains on the mat. CJ then goes to lift him up again and the result is the same as Steven's refuses to let him execute the move. Stevens then clinches his fist and lands a solid punch to the ribs. After knocking the breath away from CJ, Stevens then lifts him up into the air and drops him back to the canvas with a vertical suplex.
JOHNSON: "Scott Stevens lifted CJ like he was weightless!"
VASSA: "This Stevens guys look like a real powerhouse and he's showing us just that with that effortless move."
Standing back to his feet, Stevens circles around CJ, yelling for him to get up. In the background, he can then hear yelling as Julliet Brooks has climbed onto the apron. Slowly turning to face her, Stevens cracks a smile before walking towards her. Then ref then rushes over and stands between the two as Julliet continues to scream at him while giving CJ time to get back to his feet. After doing the deed, Julliet then hops down from the apron and just as Stevens turns around...
CRACK!!!
CJ lands a right hook dead center to Stevens jaw knocking him back into the ropes. Not giving him a chance to retaliate, CJ hits him with another hard right and then follows up with a stinging kick to the ribs. Lunging over in pain, Stevens holds his side but gives CJ the opening to wrap his arm around his head and then plant his face into the canvas with a DDT. Back to his feet and energetic, CJ looks down by the apron where Julliet cheers him on from the outside. Turning his attention back to Stevens, CJ pulls him up from the mat and then backs him into the corner before slamming him against the turnbuckle. CJ then unloads with a furious combination of lefts and rights to the body, wearing Stevens down as each bone crushing blow lands. CJ then lifts him up and sits him on top of the turnbuckle and then climbs up to the top himself. Holding up his fist in the air, CJ then swings down and connects with the first of many power punches that the crowd counts along with.
One! ... Two! ... Three! ... Four! ... Five! ... Six! ... Seven! ... Eight! ... Nine! ... Ten!"
CJ then hops into the air, wraps his legs around Stevens head and flips backwards, ripping him away from the corner and throwing him across the ring with a hurricanrana.
VASSA: "I could feel the ring rumbling from here!"
JOHNSON: "CJ has really turned things around here and taken the lead with the distraction from Julliet Brooks."
VASSA: "I'm assuming that this is exactly why Boardwalk Wrestling wasn't an option to hold this event. I thought these two were looking for neutral ground with no outside help from the home team."
JOHNSON: "So they said..."
Pushing himself up from the mat, CJ stands to his feet. Looking back to the outside again, he nods at Julliet as she cheers him on. Slowly turning around, CJ locks his sights on Stevens and then moves in for the attack. After getting within a few steps, CJ picks up the pace before jumping up and coming down with a leg drop across Stevens throat. CJ then covers for the pin as the ref sweeps in for the count.
ONE
.
.
TW... KICKOUT!!!
Looking up at the ref, CJ shakes his head back in forth in disagreement with the refs count. He then places his hand on Stevens face and pushes himself up while pressing down and putting all of his weight on it. Once to his feet, CJ grabs Stevens by the arm and hooks him underneath the shoulder before pulling him up to his feet. After standing him up, CJ then slaps him across the chest with an open hand before jumping up and going for a dropkick. Stepping out of the way, Stevens dodges the dropkick and then places his hands on CJ to help push him back down to the mat with force.
VASSA: "If gravity wasn't enough to do the job, Scott Stevens decided to give CJ a helping hand in crashing to the canvas."
JOHNSON: "I think CJ's body left an indention in the mat from that devastating fall."
Stevens then bends over and grabs CJ by the back of the head with one hand and holds it up from the mat. With his other hand forming a fist, Stevens then swings downward and connects with a punch straight to the chops, sending CJ's head bouncing off the mat. Stevens then wraps his hands around CJ's throat and lifts him up from the mat and holds him up with his feet hanging just inches above the mat. After choking the life out of him for a few moments, Stevens then drops CJ back to his feet and then positions himself beside him. Stevens then sets him up only to drive his face into the canvas with a forward Russian legsweep. Rolling Cj over to his back, Stevens then crawls on top of him and slams his forearm against his face. Standing back to his feet over CJ, Stevens then grabs the back of his head with both hands and pulls his upper-body from the mat. Stevens then drives his knee forward into CJ's face over and over, pounding him with the knee brace with each landing blow.
After wearing CJ down with the violent attack, Stevens pulls him up from the mat and then throws him to the far corner across the ring. Slamming into the corner with force, CJ's feet lift off the mat and as they drop back down to the mat, Stevens is right there behind him with a running clothesline that nearly takes off his head. Stepping out of the way, Stevens watches as CJ stumbles forward a few steps before crashing face first to the mat. Stevens then grabs ahold of CJ's foot and raises it into the air, lifting CJ's lower-body up from the canvas. He then slams his foot down while driving CJ's knee into the mat. Grunting in pain, CJ rolls over to his back but just as he does, Stevens stands over him and hits him right between the eyes with a stiff right hand. Turning his attention to CJ's right arm, Stevens then stomps on it over and over where the cast once was. He then turns to the corner and makes his way over to it before ascending to the top. Turning back to face CJ who is still down, Stevens leaps from the top rope and goes for a diving headbutt. With Stevens coming down full speed, CJ quickly rolls out of the way, leaving him to slam face first to the canvas.
JOHNSON: "Scott Stevens comes up short with the diving headbutt!"
VASSA: "That alone could change the momentum of this match in an instant."
JOHNSON: "You're absolutely right, Vinny! CJ just came off the receiving end of a brutal assault but could very well turn things around if he can get up before Stevens does."
VASSA: "We're off to the races!"
Both men begin to climb to their feet as the ref begins the count.
"One! ... Two!"
On the outside, Julliet smacks her hand against the mat, screaming for CJ to snap out of it and get to his feet first.
"Three! ... Four! ... Five!"
Up to one knee, Stevens grabs ahold of the ropes and pulls himself the rest of the way up as the ref stops the count. On the outside, Julliet appears disappointed as CJ hasn't stood up just yet. Still down on one knee, CJ takes a moment to catch his breath but before he knows it, Stevens grabs his head with both hands and then lifts him up. Holding CJ up with one hand, Stevens slaps him across the chest with a knife-edge chop, knocking him back a step. Stevens then spins around and goes for a discus clothesline but before he can make contact, CJ ducks the attack and trips him up, sending him stumbling to the ropes in front. Catching himself with the ropes, Stevens keeps from going down. Out of nowhere, CJ steps in behind him and wraps his arms around his waist and locks his hands. Lifting Stevens off his feet, CJ rips his hands away from the ropes and drives him into the canvas with a German suplex.
JOHNSON: "OH OOHHH!!! The Distinguished Suplex!"
VASSA: "Hold on a second! He's bridging it for the pin!"
With Stevens shoulders to the mat, the ref quickly rushes in and drops down for the count.
ONE

TWO
.
.
JOHNSON: "NNOOO!!!"
VASSA: "HE KICKED OUT!!!"
Rolling over to his side, CJ looks at the ref with anger and begins to mouth off a few choice words. On the outside, Julliet even screams into the ring and smacks her hand against the canvas, imitating the speed the count should have been to work in their favor. Back to his feet, CJ intimidates the ref for a moment, arguing the count and showing his displeasure with the result. He then turns back to Stevens and moves in without giving him any more time to recoup. Pulling Stevens up to his feet, CJ locks his hands onto his arm and then goes to throw him to the ropes across the ring. Before CJ can release him, Stevens reverses the throw and sends CJ into the ropes, hitting them hard and flipping up and over the top. CJ smacks his shoulder against the apron on the fall down and then bounces off only to crash even harder against the floor.
VASSA: "OUCH!!! That was a nasty looking fall!"
JOHNSON: "He appears to have hit his shoulder pretty hard after swinging over the top rope."
VASSA: "Lucky for him it wasn't the arm."
With CJ on the outside, the ref then starts the count as Stevens takes a moment to catch a breather.
"One!"
JOHNSON: "What is this!"
VASSA: "Is that... Cyrus Riddle?"
Cyrus Riddle of Boardwalk Wrestling races out from the back and makes his way down the ramp, welcomed with boos from the fans.
"Three!"
VASSA: "What the hell is he doing out here? This can't be good for Scott Stevens. Boardwalk Wrestling has a plan!"
JOHNSON: "He's climbing onto the apron."
"Five!"
With Riddle now on the apron, Stevens locks his attention on him as the two exchange words. Stevens then walks towards him but before he knows it, the ref stops his count and moves his attention to standing between the two.
VASSA: "He stopped the count!"
JOHNSON: "Cyrus Riddle saves the day for Boardwalk!"
Stevens then charges Riddle but the ref holds his ground and fights to keep the two separated, distracting him from the outside where Julliet Brooks is helping CJ up to his feet.
VASSA: "OH SHIT!!!"
JOHNSON: "What the hell?!?!"
Another erupting of boos drowns the entire arena as Dakota Smith runs through the crowd with a steel chair in hand and hops over the barricade. He then sneaks behind CJ and Julliet as they have their backs to him.
VASSA: "TURN AROUND!!!"
JOHNSON: "It's like watching a horror flick whenever Dakota is around!"
Standing behind CJ and Julliet, Dakota grabs Julliet by the hair and pulls her head in close to him, taking a deep breath of her scent while closing his eyes with a look of enjoyment of his face.
VASSA: "He's got another victim!"
JOHNSON: "First Caleb Moore and now Julliet?"
With the ref still fighting to keep Cyrus and Stevens apart, Dakota throws Julliet to the ground before turning his attention to CJ. Looking down at CJ on both knees with his head down, Dakota raises the chair above his head with both hands before swinging it downward and connecting with a vicious chair shot.
CCRRAACCKK!!!
JOHNSON: "Dakota just laid CJ out!"
VASSA: "What the fuck?!?!"
Julliet looks on in horror as CJ's limp body falls to the floor. Dakota then tosses the chair aside before reaching down and pulling CJ up. He then rolls CJ into the ring and turns back to the crowd before hopping over the barricade and disappearing into the crowd.
JOHNSON: "What's the big idea here?"
Cyrus then hops down from the apron and backs away from the ring, making his way up the ramp while keeping his eyes locked on the ring. Taking a step back from the ropes, Stevens then turns around only to see CJ lying on his back out cold. Looking around the area for anything suspicious, Stevens only sees Julliet who is still down on the floor on her hands and knees.
VASSA: "There you go, Stevens. He's been served on a platter for you."
Reaching down and grabbing CJ by the arm, Stevens drags him away from the ropes and then drops down to both knees before making the effortless cover.

THREE!!!
JOHNSON: "High Octane Wrestling takes home the Boardwalk Wrestling Internet Championship!"
VASSA: "What the fuck just happened? I thought Cyrus came out to mess with Scott Stevens but that clearly wasn't the case."
JOHNSON: "Who really knows aside from Cyrus and Dakota?"
VASSA: "Maybe Dakota just said to hell with it and took out the easier target. That mother fucker is crazy!"
"Hellraiser" hits the speakers as Scott Stevens slowly gets to his feet, looking down at CJ, wondering what just happened. Stepping in beside him, the ref hands Stevens the Boardwalk Wrestling Internet Championship and then raises his arm into the air.
DING!!! DING!!! DING!!!
POWERS: "Here is your winner and new Boardwalk Wrestling Internet Champion, representing High Octane Wrestling... SCOTT SSTTEEVVEENNSS!!!"
Stevens pulls his arm away from the ref and then walks over to the corner before climbing to the middle rope and raising the championship above his head.
JOHNSON: "I don't know what just happened out here just now but this was not expected to say the least. I know Dakota and Cyrus have a tag match coming up in HOW soon but why would they give HOW the win?"
VASSA: "If I'm correct, isn't CJ O'Donnell in this tag match?"
JOHNSON: "He is, Vinny. Scott Stevens isn't though and he represents the promotion with the Tag Team Championships on the line."
Climbing into the ring, Julliet checks with CJ who is still out cold from the brutal shot to the head with the chair. Stevens then steps down from the corner and talks over to the two and looks down with a smile on his face. He then exits the ring, leaving Julliet along to care for CJ.
VASSA: "Perry is going to have some pissed off individuals after seeing this shit!"
JOHNSON: "I'm still confused as to what the hell just happened and why."
VASSA: "Welcome to my world. I feel like that everyday!"
JOHNSON: "Alright folks, we're going to go backstage for a few moments while the wreckage is cleared up here in the ring. Just sit tight and we'll be right back!"
===4 Corners Wrestling: An Overruling===
Earlier today, Perry Wallace sat down with Michael Pettis, owner of Boardwalk Wrestling. With the outcome of last nights cross promotional match between Boardwalk Wrestling and High Octane Wrestling, the internet has been buzzing over the result of CJ O'Donnell's Internet Championship defense to Scott Stevens.
As seen last night, Cyrus Riddle (Boardwalk Wrestling) and Dakota Smith (4CW) made an appearance and laid out O'Donnell, thus giving Stevens the win.
Before this match was originally booked, it was agreed upon both Boardwalk and High Octane that neither party would interfere with the outcome of this cross promotional match. Unable to come to terms with where to hold this match, 4CW was announced as the neutral ground for both parties.
After agreeing to terms, both Michael Pettis and Lee Best guaranteed that neither of their talents would interfere in the match.
Then last night happened...
With O'Donnell outside of the ring, Riddle made his grand appearance. After climbing onto the apron, the referee was then blinded after being caught in between the two (Stevens) trying to prevent interference. From the crowd, Smith closed in on O'Donnell with a chair shot to the head, knocking him unconscious before rolling him into the ring. After fleeing the scene, Riddle then stepped down from the apron and left ringside.
After turning back to the ring, it was then apparent to both Stevens and the official that O'Donell was laid out and shortly after, Stevens made the pin and captured the Boardwalk Wrestling Internet Championship.
With Riddle not actually being the one to attack O'Donnell, Boardwalk Wrestling was not at fault for breaking terms of the agreement. However, it was never discussed that 4CW could play no part in the outcome of the match. Smith is signed exclusively to 4CW with no ties to High Octane or Boardwalk.
After long discussions, the three owners came to a conclusion. Due to the outside interference that should have been called during the match, the result has now been overturned to a no contest. With the result being a no contest, a championship cannot change hands and therefore, O'Donnell will remain the Boardwalk Wrestling Internet Champion.
Information has also been leaked that the official calling the match has been released from his contract. He has been unavailable for a statement and confirmation. Speculations point to this being done by Perry Wallace to maintain relationships with both Boardwalk Wrestling and High Octane Wrestling.
When asked about the events of last nights Adrenaline, Perry Wallace was brief with his comments. When asked if there would be any punishment given to Dakota Smith, he chuckled while giving the following response.
"You want me to punish the man? Fuck that noise. I'm not getting on his bad side. The last thing I want is to end up on the back of a milk carton. Look what happened to Aidan who still has yet to be found. You deliver a punishment to Dakota and let me know how it goes."
===Boardwalk Wrestling: An Overruling===
Controversy Surrounds the Internet Title!
Tonight of 4CW's episode of Adrenaline, CJ O'Donnell lost the Internet Title to High Octane Wrestling's Scott Stevens... Or did he?
There has been a flurry of controversy surrounding this match and Boardwalk Owner and CEO Michael Pettis has been in meetings with the 4CW Owner Perry Wallace and HOW Owner Lee Best to go over the match replay and all of the evidence. During a break in the meeting, we here at boardwalkwrestling.com reached out to Mr. Pettis for a comment on this situation. His response was, "As of right now, 4CW will be putting out a press release later today on the official involved in this match, and the actions of one Scott Stevens. Furthermore I can confirm that Boardwalk Wrestling does not recognize Mr. Stevens as the Internet Champion, and will not be having any dealings with him in the future. CJ O'Donnell's Internet Title has been returned to him, and the record books will show that he never lost the championship."
Stay tuned to this site for any further updates on this matter, and also the official sites of 4CW and HOW as well.

TW...

===4 Corners Wrestling: An Overruling===
