Scott Stevens (1-2, OVR 304) vs. Alex Kapranos (2-1, OVR 311)
The lights in the arena go pitch black, as red lasers and spotlights light up the area. The video screen lights up and flashes across the screen, "Nothing survives my sting!" The crowd starts booing, but it’s not just a normal level of booing. It’s a booing of pure hatred. Chris Benoit level booing as an electric guitar wails throughout the PA system and the words of Dave Mustaine's voice echoes throughout the arena, "As I climb onto your back, I will promise not to sting. I will, tell you what you want to hear and not mean anything. Then I, treat you like a dog, as I shoot my venom in. You pretend you didn't know, that I am The Scorpion, whoa!" The jeering intensifies as the instrumental after the chorus hits the speakers, drawing out "The Venomous One" Scott Stevens and his sinister, yet beautiful wife, Lisa Barbosa-Stevens. They stand at the top of the ramp and kiss each other to the delight of the crowd. Walking down the aisle, Scott talks trash the entire way while raising a fist at a few of the more vocal bashers and Lisa flicks off the ignorant fans asking her to show her boobs. As they reach the ring, Lisa kisses her husband's cheek before he finally gets to the ring. Once in the ring he climbs the nearest turnbuckle and stares down at the crowd, an icy glare and the throat slash gesture his only actions as he drops to the mat while Lisa cheers him on.
Amelia Williams: This match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, being accompanied by his wife, Lisa Barbosa-Stevens, he hails from Houston, Texas, weighing in at 256 pounds...He is "The Scorpion" Scott Stevens!
Frankie Garnett: To be honest, I'm surprised Lisa hasn't been more involved in Scorp's matches so far.
Tori Montgomery: To be honest, he hasn't given her much of a chance with all the losing.
Bob Sinclair: That's enough, you two.
The opening guitar licks of Franz Ferdinand's "Your Diary" echo through the arena as the lights dim except for a gold spotlight on the entrance way. A few seconds pass before the lyrics hit, and a few seconds after that, two men emerge from the back. The one on the right seems to be giving last-minute instructions to his companion, and as the music intensifies, they reach the ring. The manager remains on the outside, shouting encouragement as his charge enters the ring, shaking himself loose and preparing for the bout ahead.
Amelia Williams: His opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Aaron Aaronson, from Gloucestershire, England, weighing 202 pounds...Alex Kapranos!
Frankie Garnett: So Bob, is this guy really related to the dude from the band?
Bob Sinclair: Why don't you ask him?
Frankie Garnett: ...because his security detail keeps chasing me away.
Tori Montgomery: He doesn't even HAVE a security detail, Frankie! Just admit to being lazy and be done with it!

Inside the ring, Stevens is shaking the cobwebs out as his wife is screaming at the top of her lungs in the referee's face. The ref maintains it was three, it was the same pace he's used the entire match, and that Lisa has no leg to stand on in this argument. His next comment is muted by the censors, but the reaction says it all as Lisa hauls off and slaps the ref a good one. The official holds his cheek for a moment, and looks to get angrier as he turns back to face Lisa...only to Remember the Alamo as Stevens has gotten back up and taken out the official in his anger! Wasting no time afterwards, the Texan locks in his signature submission, the Venomous Wrath of the Goddess Selket, wrenching back on the neck and arm of the official. His cries go in vain for a good ten seconds until security finally storms the ring and forces the hold to be broken. With a smirk, Stevens rolls out of the ring, walking backwards up the ramp and never taking his eyes off the official until he rounds the corner and heads back into the locker room.
