As Heather stood in the center of the ring, microphone in hand, she raised her voice above the roar of the audience.
“LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!” she bellowed. “OUR NEXT MATCH IS ONE FALL AND IT IS OUR MAIN EVENT…THE FINALS OF THE MEN’S CARMONDY CUP!”
The crowd exploded into deafening cheers and applause as Heather paused for a moment to let the excitement build.
“INTRODUCING FIRST,” she continued.

“This is it!” Thunderbolt declared. “Here we go.”
“IT’S THE ALABAMA GANG!” Hall exclaimed.
‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson, R.G. Jenkins, and Mark Hendry race down to come to The Masked Texan’s aid.
“The Masked Texan booted Stevens out of the ring and then made the mistake of following him out of the ring,” explained Thunderbolt. “Which could have been catastrophic for the Masked Texan had not the Alabama Gang ran down to ringside.”
Referee Davey Keels resets the 10 count.
“All right, we HAVE to take a commercial break here,” Thunderbolt interjected. “We will have the rest of this match after these commercial messages.

“Welcome back to the Carmondy Cup finals!” Thunderbolt said. “While we were gone, referee Davey Keels nearly sent both the Alabama Gang AND the Stevens Dynasty not involved in the match to the back.”
“But Davey changed his mind so now we’ve got The Alabama Gang in The Masked Texan’s corner,” explained Hall. “Which is a little awkward because if the Masked Texan wins, he faces Dickinson at the St. Louis Supershow.”
“Back to the match,” Thunderbolt said.
The deafening roar of the crowd filled the arena as Bo, George, and Cary Stevens mercilessly attacked The Masked Texan outside the ring. Inside the ring, the Alabama Gang’s Mark Hendry stomped away on Scott Stevens, their combined brutality causing a frenzy in the audience.
“IT’S CHAOS!” Thunderbolt Smith cried out over the din of the crowd.
“Thunderbolt,” Hall said over the noise. “Referee Davey Keels got trucked by Scott Stevens. Bo, George, and Cary jumped The Masked Texan on the floor.”
As if on cue, No Quarter ran down to the ring and launched themselves at Bo and George, joining the fray with brutal efficiency. Rick Hall could barely contain his shock. “I can’t believe what I’m seeing, folks! All hell has broken loose!”
Amidst the cacophony of cheers and jeers, the bell suddenly rang out, slicing through the noise like a knife. “Wait a minute. I think referee Davey Keels called for the bell!” Thunderbolt exclaimed, his voice tinged with surprise.
“But who’s the winner?” asked Hall.
Unfazed by the referee’s decision, Jenkins and Hendry continued to beat up Scott Stevens inside the ring, their fists hammering into him like pistons. Outside the ring, Bo, George, and Cary brawled with The Masked Texan, Bracken Krueger, and Daryn Thompson, their movements fueled by adrenaline and rage.
“Here comes MVW Security,” Hall noted, just as a swarm of black-clad guards began pouring from the entranceway.
“And there’s Ray McAvay and Joe Bergman,” added Thunderbolt, pointing out the two authority figures striding purposefully toward the chaos.
MVW Security quickly got in between the warring factions both on the floor and in the ring, trying to restore order amidst the anarchy. Keels, his face flushed with anger and exertion, approached ring announcer Heather Cooper, leaning in to deliver his decision.
Heather listened intently, nodding as she absorbed the information. As the security team worked to control the situation, her sultry voice rang out, delivering the referee’s message to the still roaring crowd. The chaos was far from over, but for now, there was a brief moment of order amidst the pandemonium.
With the chaos somewhat subdued, the ring was a tense battleground of glaring eyes and clenched fists. The Stevens Dynasty huddled together in one corner, their faces twisted in fury, while The Masked Texan stood defiantly with the Alabama Gang in another. In the center of the ring, Heather Cooper’s sultry voice cut through the din as she prepared to make an announcement.
“Referee Davey Keels has disqualified The Stevens Dynasty!” Heather declared, her words echoing through the arena. A cacophony of cheers and boos erupted from the crowd, creating a deafening wall of sound that shook the very foundations of the building.
The Stevens Dynasty stared at each other in disbelief, their mouths agape. They couldn’t believe what they were hearing. Meanwhile, The Masked Texan took a deep breath, steeling himself for whatever came next.
“And the winner of the Carmondy Cup is… The Masked Texan!” Heather announced triumphantly, gesturing towards the enigmatic wrestler. The crowd’s roar grew even louder, reaching a fever pitch. Outraged, Cary Stevens stormed across the ring and confronted Ray McAvay, his face red with anger.
“Are you kidding me, Ray? This is an absolute joke!” Cary spat, his voice barely audible over the commotion. McAvay held his ground, meeting Cary’s gaze with unyielding determination.
“Davey made the call, Cary. You guys interfered all through the match and he finally called you on it. You have to respect it,” McAvay replied firmly. As their heated conversation continued, Joe Bergman handed the shiny Carmondy Cup trophy to The Masked Texan, who accepted it with a nod. MVW Security ushered The Stevens Dynasty out of the ring and toward the back, their protests fading into the distance.
Once they had disappeared, The Masked Texan addressed the audience, his voice filled with emotion. “I said I would remove my mask tonight and explain why I did this… And now, it’s time.” He slowly peeled off the mask, revealing his true identity. “IT’S CHARLIE BLACKWELL!” cried out Thunderbolt in shock.
“I don’t freakin’ believe it,” muttered Hall. “I mean, I kind of wondered if that’s who it was… but still.”
“Redneck” Bill Dickinson stood stunned, unable to comprehend what had just happened. Blackwell glared at him with an intensity that could cut through steel. “I’m back for one reason and one reason only, Bill,” Blackwell declared. “If you want to break my 499-day record for the longest MVW title reign ever, you’re gonna have to beat me – Charlie Blackwell- to do it.”
The crowd roared their approval in anticipation of the impending showdown. Blackwell continued, “So you make sure you take care of Luke Woods on Sunday night, Bill. Then, it’s you and me at the St. Louis Supershow for the title… and for history.” The determination in his eyes left no doubt that he meant every word.
Blackwell and Dickinson glared at each other while the arena buzzed with a mixture of excitement and disbelief.
Thunderbolt and Hall quickly wrapped up the show, recounting the Carmondy Cup winners for the night: Jill Berg Enterprises (Women’s Tag Team), The Stevens Dynasty (Men’s Tag Team), Victoria McGill (Women’s) and Charlie Blackwell (Men’s). The scene faded out, leaving the audience to ponder the unbelievable events they had just witnessed, and what lay ahead for the MVW.
