THE LEAGUE: SEASON FOUR WEEK TWO - 07/11/2011
Season Four, Week Two
Wolverhampton, England
July 11, 2011
RED DIVISION: Pizza Mask III (0-1, 9%) vs. Scott Stevens (0-1, 6%)
The theme to Samurai Pizza Cats, of all things, hits as Pizza Mask comes out on a scooter, with a pizza box strapped to the back, wearing a helmet with his pizza-design mask, black polo shirt and khaki pants, hopping off the scooter and unstrapping the pizza box, holding it up to the screen to show that it reads "Pain Pizza! Now With 100% Real Cheese!" before he heads to the ring.
Amelia Williams: Our opening contest is a Red Division bout scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Your Friendly Neighborhood Pizzeria, weighing 199 pounds...Pizza Mask III!
Bob Sinclair: Pizza Mask had a rough debut, drawing The Phoenix in his first match; his luck does not get much better as he has Phoenix's primary rival tonight.
Tori Montgomery: I'd like to see him stun Stevens with an upset.
The lights in the arena go pitch black, as red lasers and spotlights light up the area. The video screen lights up and flashes across the screen, "Nothing survives my sting!" The crowd starts booing as "End of Days" by Emphatic hits the speakers, and the man in question appears from the back and stops on the stage. As "The Venomous One" stares down his opponent with an icy glare he points to them, then he makes the throat slash gesture to them before he begins walking to the ring, being pelted by trash the whole way.
Amelia Williams: His opponent, from Houston, Texas, weighing 265 pounds... "The Scorpion" Scott Stevens!
Bob Sinclair: So, Tori, any truth to the rumor about Stevens being locked up in the same institution that Ezeial Kerghan is known to frequent?
Tori Montgomery: I haven't gotten solid confirmation one way or the other, Bob. Afraid right now my answer is "I just don't know."
