The feed fades in inside the Jesus complex in Atlantic City, where thousands of fans are already angrily protesting the new ownership of HOW. The first shots are of the crowd and their various banners and signs, most of which are anti-Mike Best. The shot then shows the ring which is filled with several wrestlers already, including Ryan McKenna, Scott Stevens, Tara Michaels Davidson, Justin Carnate, Scottywood and Hall of Famer Jatt Starr. Making his way to the ring to the sound of “Everyone Bleeds” by Hatebreed.
Joe Hoffman: “Well folks welcome back to our regularly scheduled programming here in HOW, where we have the first match post War Games, which is anything but regular. Let’s talk about War Games for a quick second Benny, before this match gets under way. Mike Best is obviously now going to be the owner of HOW come July 8th, after pinning former World champion John Sektor. Sektor had the match won Benny. He, Jace and Shane could have easily got the win but Sektor chose to turn on his team mates, stabbing Shane in the EYE, I might add..and because of that he went on to lose. Can you explain WHY, Sektor might have done that?
Benny Newell: I’m sure Sektor has his reasons, Joe. I refuse to believe that he’s just a fucking retard who doesn’t know how to play the numbers game. I certainly don’t think he planned on LOSING! Just give the guy a break, I’m still grieving for the fucking company and for Lee so I’m sure he is too.
Joe Hoffman: Yes but Benny, it’s because of SEKTOR, that Mike now OWNS the company…there’s no turning back from that.

But here’s the best part…the WINNER gets a shot at Mike Bests World title next week, which of course is the last week under Lee Best’s ownership.

The wrestlers all wait in the ring as Townsend tests the ropes, when suddenly all of their heads shoot to the ramp as “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” by AC/DC blasts through the PA. The crowd instantly boo’s as John Sektor marches out onto the ramp. Sektor’s face is still swollen and bruised from War Games.
Benny Newell: YES!! JOHN MOTHER FUCKING SEKTOR TO WIN AND TAKE BACK THE TITLE NEXT WEEK!!
Joe Hoffman: To quote Townsend, that WOULD be hash-tag predictable..
None of the usual bullshit from Sektor as he storms down to the ring with a face like thunder, clearly in no mood to be fucking around. He slides straight under the ring and pounces on the first person he see’s which happens to be Scottywood!

As Sektor pummels Scottywood on the canvas the other stars all pair up and begin knocking several shades of shit out of each other. McKenna squares off with Carnate but finds himself floored by a huge clothesline.

Tara has just kicked Jatt Starr square in the chin and charges at him, but Jatt drops down and lifts her up and over the ropes with a back body drop..

Tara hangs onto the ropes and slips back under them to save herself from elimination. Jatt shows no care for gender as he repeatedly begins to stomp a mudhole in her on the canvas.
Townsend rushed up behind Justin Carnate and pants a waistlock, landing the big man on his neck with one of the most beautiful German suplex’s you’ll ever witness. McKenna seems grateful to Townsend but finds himself on the receiving end of kick to the gut and a snap suplex.
Joe Hoffman: MAN! Townsend is on a mission tonight Benny. Clearly motivated by the fact that he didn’t manage to eliminate a single person at War Games.
Sektor has Scottywood on his feet and his rifling stiff, aggressive punches to all sides of his head jaw. Scottywood flops back against the tunbuckle and Sektor doesn’t let up, grabbing hold of the ropes for leverage and repeatedly kicking him in the midsection until he falls. Sektor then sends in the knee’s and finished by trying to choke Scottywood out.
Joe Hoffman: Nothing pretty about Sektor’s approach tonight. He’s just here to hurt people.
Benny Newell: I’m liking this new edge Joe. There’s something different about Sektor.
Across the ring Jatt has just executed a diving reverse DDT on Stevens, to free up some room to go back to Tara, as Stevens was setting his sights on the woman who shoved a tampon down his throat.
Joe Hoffman: While Stevens looks for revenge, Jatt looks to target Tara, who knowing him he probably feels is the weakest link in this match.
Benny Newell: So long as he stays away from her filthy cunt he’ll be alright..
Sektor is still merciless beating in Scottywood but Townsend comes up behind him with another waistlock, but Sektor catches him in the eye with an elbow, turning around and grabbing Townsend by both sides of the head and delivering a stiff headbutt. Townsend hits the deck and Sektor stumbles..
Joe Hoffman: Huge headbutt from Sektor, but he looks like he might have done more damage to himself.
Benny Newell: Have you seen the size of Townsends head? Must weight close to a hundred pounds.

He then notices that Carnate is pulling himself up with the ropes and runs at him, but Carnate drops and holds the ropes, sending Scottywood up and over…

Scotty somehow manages to avoid touching the floor and rolls back under where Carnate is waitin for him but McKenna clubs him from behind. Scotty and McKenna begin to double team in in the corner, trying to lift him over the top.
Townsend and Sektor are both getting up and instantly begin exchanging right hands, which gets the crowd going with excitement.
Joe Hoffman: Shades of War Games. I love it when these two square off..
Townsend seems to get the better of the punches but Sektor grabs his face and rakes his eyes before spearing him to the canvas. Sektor then jumps on top and pins Townsends arms to the canvas with his knee’s, hammering forearms across the bridge of his nose.
Across the ring Jatt and Stevens are struggling with one another against the ropes. Stevens is trying to desperately lift Jatt over but Jatt is holding on for dear life. Tara soon joins the party and delivers a dropkick between the shoulder blades of Stevens and Jatt goes through the middle ropes to the outside!!
Benny Newell: Is Jatt out?
He has to go over the top right?
Joe Hoffman: Referee is shaking his head…Jatt’s still in this.
Jatt breathes a huge sigh of relief and takes a breather before re-entering. It’s only once the official on the outside orders him back in that he does so.
Townsend has managed to push Sektor off him with his knees and rolls through for a single leg boston crab of DOOM!!! The fans go wild but he doesn’t quite set it and Sektor crawls away. He flips onto his back as Townsend marches towards him, grabbing his leg but Sektor kicks out and catches Townsend in the face.
In the corner where McKenna and Scotty are double teaming Carnate, Carnate begins to fight back, hitting both of them alternately with right hands. As they both take a step back he nails them both with a double clothesline, gaining a huge pop from the crowd.
Sektor meanwhile is back fighting with Rhys and eventually kicks him in the gut and almost lifts him off the ground with a devastating European upper cut. He then flips Townsend over and adds insult to injury by locking in a single leg Boston crab of his own!
Joe Hoffman: Sektor with the single crab, for insult purposes only as you CANNOT win this match by pinfall or submission.
Sektor is wrenching so hard on Townsends leg that you can hear the screams from the back row of the audience. He eventually lets go and smirks as he see’s Townsend favouring his knee on the canvas.
Jatt has just sprung to life and took down Tara with a dropkick. He and Sektor are both backing up towards each other and bump into one another. As they turn around they Jatt gets into Sektor’s face and the entire arena explodes, as they await both former Best Alliance members to fight.
Joe Hoffman: Oh hang on sec…these two look ready to go..
Benny Newell: No come on boys, work TOGETHER!!
This intense moment is prematurely cut short as Justin Carnate nails Sektor from behind, causing him to headbutt Jatt. Justin checks behind himself and see’s Townsend hobbling up to his feet and runs to the ropes. He comes back with a big boot but Townsend ducks and catches his leg on his own shoulder, executing a capture suplex. Townsend yells as he turns around, looking pumped and pissed off. He then charges at McKenna and Scotty who have started duking it out. McKenna see’s him and steps out of the way, meaning Townsend only flattens Scottywood in the corner. McKenna then turns him around looking to hit his signature upper cut but Rhys dodges it and wraps his big arms around the Scotsman’s waist, lifting him up and over the ropes with a HUGE belly to belly suplex.
Benny Newell: Look Joe! It’s the flying Scotsman!
Bryan McVay: RYAN MCKENNA HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!!!
Joe Hoffman: The man who scored an impressive victory over Chris Kostoff at War Games is the first to go in this number one contenders battle royal..and Townsend, who didn’t get a single elimination at War Games gets the first one. You just can’t write this stuff..

Scotty then hoists him across his shoulders and into a firemans carry and finishes off with his Game Misconduct DDT! Sektor is lights out on the canvas..
Joe Hoffman: GAME MISCONDUCT!! SEKTORS IN TROUBLE.
Boom, Scotty is nailed with a big boot from Carnate, but as Carnate turns Jatt is coming at him with a flying forearm!

Across the ring Stevens is in trouble as Tara has just caught him with a big round house kick. Stevnes falls against the ropes and Tara begins to back up…
Joe Hoffman: Ohh this would be devastating for Stevens. He already is coming off a loss from her from War Games after…the incident.
Benny Newell: That incident is what Sektor calls a Jam rag!!
She then charges at Stevens but Stevens lifts a leg and catches her square in the face. Tara back tracks holding her face and the scorpion bolts at her, throwing all his body weight into a lariat that damn near takes her head off. The crowd are behind Stevens as he pumps himself up. He grabs Tara by the hair and yanks her to her feet, screaming abuse in her face. He then turns her upside down in a tombstone position, holding her there. He then grabs her head and begins rubbing her face into her crotch..
Benny Newell: Damn….
Joe Hoffman: Tara had this coming Benny..
Before executing the move Stevens buries his own face into her crotch and motorboats it before jumping and planting her head first onto the canvas. On the other side of the ring Scotty and Carnate and beating on each other against the ropes. They both look at though there about to eliminate one another until Sektor stumbles along and grabs them both by their heads before smashing them both together like a pair of symbols. Both men then tie themselves up in the ropes as their legs give way beneath them and Sektor begins to back up.
Benny Newell: Here comes super Sektor for the double E-LIM!
Before Sektor has time to charge, Jatt comes out of nowhere and clotheslines both men over the ropes.

Sektor frowns at Jatt and holds his arms aloft, but Jatt looks in no mood to be giving out apologies and makes this point even clearer by shoving Sektor in the chest. The crowd begins to chant ‘FIGHT’ as Sektor’s face goes red and stern.

Tara back tracks holding her face and the scorpion bolts at her, throwing all his body weight into a lariat that damn near takes her head off. The crowd are behind Stevens as he pumps himself up. He grabs Tara by the hair and yanks her to her feet, screaming abuse in her face. He then turns her upside down in a tombstone position, holding her there. He then grabs her head and begins rubbing her face into her crotch..
Benny Newell: Damn….
Joe Hoffman: Tara had this coming Benny..
Before executing the move Stevens buries his own face into her crotch and motorboats it before jumping and planting her head first onto the canvas. Stevens jumps up and looks like he can smell something foul, but doesn’t let it distract him as he drags her back up by her hair and throws her over the ropes like a cheap piece of trash.
Bryan McVay: TARA MICHAELS-DAVIDSON HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!!
Joe Hoffman: Second elimination of the match and now we’re down to six..
As Stevens gloats at Tara he goes to turn around but Jatt’s waiting with a picturesque standing dropkick. The momentum takes the scorpion up and over and landing on top of Tara in a most unsavoury position.
Benny Newell: FIVE!
Bryan McVay: SCOTT STEVENS HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!!
On the other side of the ring Scotty and Carnate and beating on each other against the ropes. They both look at though there about to eliminate one another until Sektor stumbles along and grabs them both by their heads before smashing them both together like a pair of symbols. Both men then tie themselves up in the ropes as their legs give way beneath them and Sektor begins to back up.
Benny Newell: Here comes super Sektor for the double E-LIM!
Before Sektor has time to charge, Jatt comes out of nowhere and clotheslines both men over the ropes.
Joe Hoffman: JATT JUST STOLE SEKTORS ELIMINATION!!
Bryan McVay: SCOTTYWOOD AND JUSTIN CARNATE HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED!!!
Sektor frowns at Jatt and holds his arms aloft, but Jatt looks in no mood to be giving out apologies and makes this point even clearer by shoving Sektor in the chest. The crowd begins to chant ‘FIGHT’ as Sektor’s face goes red and stern.
Joe Hoffman: Ohhh things are going to explode here Benny..
Sektor gets into Jatt’s face but Jatt’s head is wobbling all over the place as rifles off a load of abuse at the former champion. Sektor seems to be warning him and trying to reason with him…both men fail to see that Townsend is up and is charging at them both..they both turn and receive a double clothesline…
Joe Hoffman: THEY’RE BOTH OUT TOWNSEND WINS!!!

Both Sektor and Jatt have managed to land outside the ropes on the edge of the canvas but Townsend has ran to the opposite ropes, coming back with a double baseball slide…

The official raises Townsned arms in victory. Townsend can barely stand after the vicious beat down from Sektor, but shows his toughness by lifting his chin proudly and roaring like a Lion.
On the outside of the ring Sektor is pulling his own hair out and has just booted over the steel ring steps. Jatt stays on his knee’s with his head bowed, realising what’s happened, whilst Sektor just storms away up the ramp.
Joe Hoffman: There’s trouble a brewing for those two. But what a huge win for Townsend…earning three eliminations and becoming the next challenger to the World title. Mike Vs Townsned, AGAIN!!! Next week is going to be HUGE and we’ve only just got going on this show..we’ll be back after this.
