History
Biography: Jeff Andrews spent the bulk of his career in interfed systems - first the CAL (Coalition of Affiliated Leagues), then the WfWA (World Wrestling Alliance). He operated two promotions - first the Innovative Wrestling Alliance (from 2001-04), and then Old Line Wrestling (from 04-08). Despite being a full time promoter, he also found time to accumulate four World Title reigns, as well as two World Tag Title reigns.
But he was always plagued by personal demons of the kind that caused him to burn out, often taking his bridges down with him.
The year was 2013, and Jeff Andrews was sick of wrestling. His life away from the ring was falling apart, and he had no interest in actually doing anything. But he couldn't step away, couldn't force himself to walk away from the business he'd put so much of his life into. And by the time he finally did walk away, he'd lost his girlfriend of 15 years, and made an enemy of a person in DEFIANCE with enough stroke to keep him from coming back.
So he sat at home. And he did nothing, just sat and drank beer and started burning his way through the money he'd made over his 20 year career. And he got more bitter, and he got more angry, and finally he got bored, and he started looking for something to do. But he had no imagination because he'd done nothing but eaten, drank, sweated and slept pro wrestling for 2 decades, so he started looking to get back into wrestling. And he decided on UTA.
Because of his history with Eric Dane, Jeff Andrews very nearly joined the Pantheon before Dane had even publicized the stable's existence. Instead, Andrews decided to turn over a new leaf. He came into the UTA as a good guy, and found himself opposing the Pantheon instead.
Superstar of the week after only having been in UTA for 2 Victory cards, people who don't know Jeff Andrews are watching him ascend the rankings - and people who do know him are waiting for the Cross-Wired Time Bomb to explode.

Strengths: 1) He's really... really good. He's got that thing going where, even if he's not the best at any single wrestling style, he's better than average at just about all of them. When Jeff Andrews is on top of his game, he's close to unbeatable. It's just that... well, see weaknesses.
Weaknesses: 1) Jeff Andrews is _NEVER_ on top of his game. If he's in a bad state of mind (read: working heel) ge's alternately impatient, impulsive, lazy, surly, depressed, out of his mind with sheer rage, and drunk. If he's in a good state of mind (read: working face) although he's less likely to be stupid, he always holds back just a little bit, because the urge to explode and/or act like a jackass for no reason is always, always there.
2) Jeff Andrews approaches wrestling and real life the same way. For example, were he to want to break through a wall, and decide to headbutt the wall, and fail to do any damage to it, he may continue headbutting that wall until he's bleeding. His wrestling is the same way - if he wants to brawl, he'll brawl, and if someone is good enough to counter it with mat grappling he'll keep on brawling anyway, and likely end up with a sore arm/leg/whatever when technically his mat game is good enough that he could have held his own.
3) And although his endurance is pretty solid, he doesn't use it very well a lot of the time. Whether it be showing off his strength by slamming a big dude a bunch of times or relying too heavily on running attacks, Andrews often starts matches hard and goes full speed for the first 10-15 minutes, then crashes.
Entrance Music: "Gods and Punks" - Monster Magnet
Ring Entrances: ♫ I'm a stoned jet fighter with a heart of gold ♫
♫ Well I'm really mad and I'm really old ♫
♫ And I rule this planet from high above ♫
♫ And it's time I sacrificed all my love ♫
As "Gods and Punks" by Monster Magnet blasts out, Jeff Andrews storms out of the back, and stops at the top of the ramp, fists clenched and at his sides, and head looking down. He slowly brings his arms up to shoulder level.
Ring Announcer: (Introducing first/And his opponent!) Hailing from Deadman Crossing, Ohio, and weighing in at 264 lbs!
Andrews snaps his fingers, and flashpots explode all over the stage.
Ring Announcer: JEFF! ANNNNNDREWS!
Andrews begins powerwalking to the ring, reaching out to slap a few outstretched hands.
♫ And if you don't like what you see ♫
♫ Go ahead and take it out on me ♫
♫ I'm the Big Pig Apocalypse - ♫
♫ - and I ain't hard to please! ♫
[Commentary Prompt]
At ringside he doffs his leather jacket and drops it on the ringside mats, then rolls into under the bottom rope. He bolts madly across the ring to test the ropes, then on the rebound leaps to the middle and top ropes, raising both fists above his head.
♫ I'm a stoned jet fighter with a heart of gold ♫
♫ And I rule this planet from high above ♫
♫ And I take what I take because I want what I want ♫
♫ And tonight I'm gonna rock with the Gods and Punks ♫
[Commentary Prompt]
Andrews drops back into his corner and ignores the ref as he checks for foreign objects, never taking his eyes off (his opponent/the entrance ramp).
